We stayed one night in Room 1 at the Inn, and I only wish we had organised our trip to stay longer! We arrived late in the day after a long drive from PA, and it was a beautiful setting right on the Blue Ridge Parkway ... peaceful and quiet. I absolutely loved everything about this place, especially the beautiful...

The Volunteer Gap Inn offers a comforting, homey respite while traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway. The main inn is adjacent to the home occupied by innkeeper Deena and her family. On the early May afternoon when we arrived, a welcome note and instructions about our room were taped to the office door since Deena was at one of her son’s...

Room was very comfortable and clean. Very reasonable priced, Loved the dog themed decor- we stayed in room 3 because we had two little dogs with us. Plenty of room for them and the two of us and their crates. Bathroom nice and large with jetted tub, lots of fresh towels, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds...

We got lucky and were told about this place when our other place to stay fell through. Super friendly when we checked in. The cutest little dogs that wanted to be petted. The room was lovely with beautiful quilts and a small kitchen. Great nights sleep.

We stayed in a room for one night. It was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in and was furnished beautifully with quilts and country style furniture. The bathroom was spotless, large and was well stocked with clean and fluffy white towels. The tub was jetted and the shower was awesome. The room had everything we needed and was...

Not only is this place reasonably priced, but it is so tranquil and nice, you won't want to leave. It is a great overnight stop when you tour the Blue Ridge and she welcomes bikers. We sat on the back porch all evening visiting with other guests and just enjoying the scenery. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and...

I just can't say enough about this wonderful place! The setting here is lovely and it's right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Deena is welcoming and really helped make our stay memorable. You can rent a cabin or a room in the small inn, most of which have a whirlpool tub and the prices are more than fair. We actually...

This is exactly the kind of place my partner and I imagined staying when we were planning our trip along the Blueridge Parkway. The location is fantastic - so peaceful, with a beautiful porch and far reaching views. The hostess was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. This is absolutely the...

We were in room seven of the Inn. This place is clean and comfortable. Motorcycle and dog friendly. We will be going...

We stayed in the inn rooms for one night on a trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabins are visible from the Parkway, making for easy access. There is a broad front porch with lots of chairs and we had a delightful evening relaxing and chatting with the other guests. There is a bass pond, full of big fish,...
