Came for a 2 night trip to visit Floyd and the mountains but didn't plan till a couple weeks before and most places were filled. We lucked out that Jeannie and Tom O'Neill still had the Victorian open. The cottage does set near the road but we had no problem with this and no real noise issues and the bedroom...

We took a motorcycle trip to Floyd with another couple and stayed at the Cottage on Main in Floyd. The Suites connected (the Main and the Oxford) and both had a small kitchenette, living room, bed and bath. Jeannie and Tom were very friendly and took great care of us. The first morning we had homemade donuts. We enjoyed the...

We love all the local flavor in Floyd. It's a one-of-a-kind town. And the Cottage On Main is certainly one of a kind. Every detail reflects the work of artist-owner Jeanie O'Neill, and there are LOTS of details. Jeanie and husband Tom are gracious hosts. The bed and linens are luxurious. The quirky feel of the place won't be found...

My first experience at Cottage on Main was a surprise Valentines Weekend trip for me and my then boyfriend (now husband). This February marks the 5th year! We absolutely love everything about this place. Jeanie and Tom are the best hosts and are quick to offer anything you need as well as great conversations over a glass(es) of wine.We look...

We stay at The Cottage on Main every February when we make a trip to Floyd. We love the whimisical and cozy feel! Jeanie and Tom are very hospitable and such a delight! Jeanie's paintings and creative decorating make the cottages so special and unique. The cottage is in the heart of The Town of Floyd so you can walk...

We stayed in the two-bedroom cottage in the rear of the property. It is a lovely cottage, whimsically decorated by co-owner Jeanie O'Neil, whose artistic skills are evident on every wall, ceiling and floor, making this a delightful place to stay. The bed was oversized and very comfortable, a fully-equipped kitchenette enables guests to enjoy a quick meal, a glass...

When you walk into the suite you just smile. It is a joyful place! Our stay was very pleasant. We had almost all the comforts of home. The 2 suites in the cottage have been creatively decorated with painted finishes, and furnished with antiques. Jeanie's colorful and whimsical paintings hang throughout the suite. The bedroom was large and the bed...

Suite was well equipped and it was nice to have kitchenette and separate living room since we stayed more than one night. Both Jeanie and her husband were very gracious. It would be helpful if they made it easier to find out how to check in when you arrive. Also, there were lots of dog hairs on the furniture. We...

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Cottage on Main in Floyd, VA. The room we stayed in was not ready for guests. It was an old building that smelled moldy, had cobwebs in the corners and it was clear that it had not been occupied in a long time. There was no key available and we had...

Having arrived in Floyd from Ireland to 'do' the Crooked Road music scene we went to the visitor's centre where we met the lovely Diane, who could not have been nicer or more helpful. She rang around and finally got us into Jeanie’s Cottage on Main. It was just on the edge of the main street – charming and unique....
