January 13 and 14 we made our fourth visit to Glen Gordon Manor, our first visit since hosting our family there for our fiftieth wedding anniversary.
January 13th was the occasion of Chef Dayn Smith and staff hosting ‘The Library Wine Dinner’, with wines served from Dayn’s personal wine collection. The wine pairing dinner was magnificent, fully supported by an...

Luxurious and homey, beautiful and quaint. I'm not sure how they pulled it off but, the resort was all of those things at once. Did I mention the food yet? A-MAZ-ING! I didn't know a scone could change my life. But it did. In fact, I don't think I even liked scones before last weekend. When can I go back...

You know who you are. You've taken your love to IALW for special occasions, maybe even stayed there once. But with the prices, perhaps it's time to see if you can have that experience for a more digestible price. Well, how about a better one? Dane Smith, the chef/owner, brings French-inspired elegance to every bite, should you choose to stay...

In September my now husband and I got married at Glen Gordon Manor (GGM). I wanted a place with the perfect mixture of modern elegance and old Hollywood glamour; a place with history where the history of my young family could begin; a place that was chic and felt like home at the same time. I wanted the best chef...

We've stayed and eaten at Glen Gordon numerous times, and each was fabulous. Accommodations are beautiful and immaculate, and the food is as good as it comes. Skip the other place and go to Glen Gordon!

We have stayed at Glen Gordon Manor three times and each has been lovely. We have come for winery sponsored wine dinners and the food was delicious and well matched to the wines. I hope to get there to try the house wine pairings soon. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband went to get early coffee and...

We stayed here for two nights at the start of a short tour around Virginia and Maryland. After fourteen hours of flying and a nine hour time difference, we had planned on not having dinner when we arrived, but are glad that we changed our mind and did! Dinner on both nights was exceptional, with great wine pairings. The breakfasts...

My husband and I enjoyed a quick getaway to this beautiful estate. The owners are incredibly welcoming, and the entire staff is just as wonderful. Our room was lovely and dinner delicious. Breakfast the next morning was the perfect conclusion to our stay at Glen Gordon Manor. We would highly recommend to any of our friends and family. We are...

We visited Glen Gordon Manor for the second time this past weekend. We had been in February and fell in love so knew it would be the best place to celebrate our 12th anniversary. It was a perfect fall day to visit and see all the leaves changing. As always, the service was impeccable. From arriving to a glass of...
