What a relaxing evening with gourmet food served by professional staff in a peaceful rural setting! I was treated like an honored guest. Accommodations were made for my food allergies and personal preferences.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Glen Gordon Manor for my birthday and was not disappointed! The place is lovely with beautiful views. We were greeted and toured by Mary, she was very pleasent and knowledgable. We started off in the living room with a cheese platter and complimentary champagne as the very friendly chef came out...

Our first visit. Attended Linden Vintners Dinner with overnight stay. Accommodations were exceptional and the dinner and breakfast selections were delightful and delicious. Started saving for our next visit.

My husband and I attended a wine dinner hosted at Glen Gordon for Linden Vineyards. The dinner was nothing short of spectacular, with the chef doing a fabulous job of marrying the Linden wines with a 5-course meal. It's notable that my husband and I couldn't even pick our favorite course as they were all wonderful. The ambience and hospitality...

As expected, my return to Glen Gordon Manor was nothing short of Wonderful. We were greeted kindly shown to our spacious and beautifully appointed room and offered wine. The rim exudes comfort and luxury. The spacious bath areas with a double soaking tub and a walk in shower are only surpassed by the outdoor hot tub jacuzzi with views of...

We wish we could give a higher than 5-star rating for this jewel of a place in the lush, green Virginia countryside. We stayed two nights in the Wallis suite. The house's history is fascinating, having been a staging post of the Pony Express, a place of refuge for escaping slaves and a former owner who was a cousin of...

Wonderful location, wonderful room, and a wonderful dinner. We would stay again in a heartbeat! The Inn served as the location for a wine dinner for one of our favorite vineyards (Linden) and my wife and I were so happy we choose to stay over. Don't miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning - it was delicious!

This is the second time we have been to Glen Gordon Manor for dinner. PERFECTION. Beautifully balanced 5 course dinner and we did the wine flights suggested. Wines were perfect with every course. Service always outstanding. Dayn, the chef/owner, even helped serve and checked every table. His pride in his culinary talent is obvious by the balancing of each course...

Birthday dinner on Saturday night was perfect. Eight people at a round table in front of a roaring wood fireplace. Gorgeous room and fabulous food -- beautifully served. We had eaten in the main dining room, and had wonderful experiences there too. Really a special place. Highly recommend.

Houndstooth at the Glen Gordon Manor is for us the best fine dining in Rappahannock County and surroundings. We stayed at the nearby Marriott Ranch and had an excellent Monday prix fixe five course dinner at Houndstooth of locally sourced food with wine pairings. Co-owner Dayn Smith is a creative chef and most gracious host. We will definitely return and...
