We wish we could give a higher than 5-star rating for this jewel of a place in the lush, green Virginia countryside. We stayed two nights in the Wallis suite. The house's history is fascinating, having been a staging post of the Pony Express, a place of refuge for escaping slaves and a former owner who was a cousin of...

Wonderful location, wonderful room, and a wonderful dinner. We would stay again in a heartbeat! The Inn served as the location for a wine dinner for one of our favorite vineyards (Linden) and my wife and I were so happy we choose to stay over. Don't miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning - it was delicious!

This is the second time we have been to Glen Gordon Manor for dinner. PERFECTION. Beautifully balanced 5 course dinner and we did the wine flights suggested. Wines were perfect with every course. Service always outstanding. Dayn, the chef/owner, even helped serve and checked every table. His pride in his culinary talent is obvious by the balancing of each course...

Birthday dinner on Saturday night was perfect. Eight people at a round table in front of a roaring wood fireplace. Gorgeous room and fabulous food -- beautifully served. We had eaten in the main dining room, and had wonderful experiences there too. Really a special place. Highly recommend.

Houndstooth at the Glen Gordon Manor is for us the best fine dining in Rappahannock County and surroundings. We stayed at the nearby Marriott Ranch and had an excellent Monday prix fixe five course dinner at Houndstooth of locally sourced food with wine pairings. Co-owner Dayn Smith is a creative chef and most gracious host. We will definitely return and...

Great experience from the time we stepped in at Glen Gordon Manor until the end! Received warm reception by the owner with Champagne at the entrance with a stunning foyer with fire place. The suite was very cozy and luxurious. Most comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, sitting area, library. And NO TV thanks god! Dining was exquisite. Very personable and delicious...

You know you're in for a getaway treat just traveling to the inn, driving serene back roads of rolling hills, passing winery after winery. Driving up the entrance, the manor's charm pulls you in instantly, and you feel calmer before you even get to the door. My husband and I not only spent three heavenly nights at this lovely inn,...

My husband and I just returned from a two night stay at Glen Gordon Manor. We were the only guests at the B&B from a Sunday-Tuesday. Rooms: The manor is beautifully decorated, rooms are well appointed, beds were comfortable with high quality sheets and robes (I ended up buying a robe). Sonos system in each room is a very nice...

We stayed here for the second night of our two night trip down to Virginia wine country and were overall pretty happy with the stay. The staff were extremely friendly, and while we had a bit of a hick-up with some food that we had ordered to the room, they were on top of the issue quickly once we mentioned...
