A superb escape in the hills of southern Virginia. My wife and I stayed at this charming getaway in late fall for our anniversary and enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing and cozy few nights in the loft suite. John and Linda were incredibly warm and friendly; truly fine and thoughtful hosts. Breakfasts were hearty and absolutely delicious, and Linda's Bavarian whipped...

What a find..... thanks TripAdvisor!! A wonderful setting near Floyd VA...... Fountain Cottage was just right for a special night on our way to Baltimore. John's design skills are evident everywhere in a European motif in the Holler............Linda's culinary skills at breakfast and dinner puts chefs to shame.........joining John in the Little Pub for cocktails and delicious stuffed mushrooms was...

This getaway should be on your "bucket list"! It is the perfect...romantic getaway, girls weekend, special celebration, mother/daughter trip, father/son bonding, retreat...you name it. We stayed in the Fountain Cottage, but Linda gave me a tour of the other two rooms and each one is uniquely beautiful. The hosts are charming and inviting. Dinner is a must!! The experience is...

I took my wife here for a surprise anniversary/birthday getaway. We LOVED it! Beautiful spot. Great hosts. Wonderful food. My wife particularly liked the ducks, chickens, sheep, ponies, dogs, and cat. We went for a hike at nearby Buffalo Mountain. We had a great time sharing songs and stories with John & Linda by the fire. The pub was pretty...

We spent one week traveling Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway from NJ to Asheville, and stayed in three B&B's on the way and at The Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Heavens Holler was the absolute highlight, no doubt about it. The views are stunning, the Fountain Cottage charming, the food fantastic, and the hosts -- Linda...

Beautiful scenery, lovely hosts, tasty breakfasts, horses, dogs (Willy and Selah), and music. It made a great 4-day getaway weekend for us. Highly recommended. I fished one of the four ponds on the property (the bass pond) and had good luck, even in the fall. Linda's breakfasts are unique and flavorful. We enjoyed playing with Willy (an Australian shepherd) and...

After trying to find a B&B in NC, SC & GA and they were all booked, I found this sweet hidden gem online. It certainly did not disappoint and FAR exceeded our expectations! Everything was truly a dream. John & Linda were the most hospitable people I have ever met and everything from the breakfast to the dinner (if you...

After browsing B&Bs online for days to find a place to have a private wedding ceremony, I came across Linda and John's beautiful property. It reminded me so much of where we had recently stayed in Provence, and since we could not marry in France, I decided that it would have be the place. I'm so glad we chose Heaven's...

Heavens Holler was the complete highlight of our tour/drive to Georgia. It is the most amazing property with unreal views, a dreamy farm hidden away . You must come here and find your piece of heaven. We have been to farms all over the world and this one wins the prize! Linda and John are your gracious hosts and incredible...

We had two days to spend somewhere between Charlottesville, Virginia and Asheville, N.C. and were lucky enough to find Heavens Holler. It's a magical little world that's been created by two amazing people, John and Linda. They have exquisite taste that's whimsical without going over the top; they're generous and embracing and yet respectful of your privacy. There are views...
