The first pleasant experience was to be able to actually speak with an actual member of the staff via an actual telephone call. I had tried one of the many travel links to secure a room online with no success. Thank goodness this business has their phone number on their site! From the time we arrived until we left after... We just got back from a one night get-a-way at the Kilmarnock Inn. It was the most relaxing wonderful almost 24 hours ever!!!! Everything was first class: the unique accommodations, the food, the friendly staff. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was 5 stars all the way!

Went here for brunch on 9-11-2016 and fortunately had reservations. Excellent service and food. Food was tasty, properly prepared and served; and given excellent value, can't ask for any more than that.

We went for brunch with family so ended up being five of us and we had our own little nook since no one else was there yet. Mix of people getting the buffet and ordering off the menu and it all seemed to work well. The fruit on the buffet was fresh. The rooms are nicely decorated with presidential decor.... More

We are local residents but it was our first time at your inn. It was Betsy's birthday and we wanted to go to a special occasion place. We found it. The shrimp and grits were the best. I have been to some high dollar restaurants who butcher this dish. You got it right. Betsy had the Scottish Salmon and thought... More

We stopped in for breakfast and it was an awesome decision on our part!!! Delicious food, the friendliest folks!! We can't wait now to go back and spend the night at this delightful Inn. <3 The history in the Norther Neck area is just so interesting and The Kilmarnock Inn is so centrally located.

I stayed at the Monroe Cottage and in the York room. This was the best get away I've had in a while and I recommend it to anyone wanting to relax and take a step back in time. I was there only for lunch with family/friends. I typically write reviews if food and/or service is superb. If I have an "issue" I address it while I'm there. My experience was neither of these. Simply put, I was very disappointed. Two of us ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Louie. It did not have the usual items I am accustomed... More

Thank you, Victoria, for your feedback as it helps us to improve the quality of service that we take great pleasure in providing. What a gem! It is tiny but so charming. The rooms are lovely and all have some kind of porch or balcony. The courtyard is lovely with so many flowers and plants and little fountains. Breakfast is included and there are many delicious options to choose from. The crab topped eggs Benedict was out of this world. We also enjoyed... More

6 of us celebrated a birthday at the Kilmarnock Inn recently. Check in was mostly a breeze, and the rooms were nicely appointed and... More
