The Navigation Inn is a relaxed venue near Bugsworth basin. Good range of beer and food at reasonable prices so no need to cook if you are staying locally. Lots of dogs in the bar which can be a challenge as they tend to get a bit territorial. Locals very friendly and welcoming.

The Navigation is a relaxed place at the side of the canal. We found it welcoming friendly & laid back. The staff were very pleasant and natural. The beer was very good and well kept - the landlady was very knowledgeable. The food was excellent....I had the halloumi ciabatta which I heartily recommend. The young man who served us was...

Cycled to the navigation Inn with my son for lunch. The caramelised onion, houlimi ciabatta and chips was amazing. William had the sticky toffee pudding after. Great service, good quality and presentation. My son wants to go back again so this might become a regular stop off point.

This pub is situated in a pretty location next to the canal. The food was good and wholesome. However the landlord was less than welcoming. Quite rude in fact and very grumpy. It could also do with a bit of a clean up.It is also dog friendly which is not a problem for us but they should not be allowed in the...

Good atmosphere, great location, great beer, friendly people, polite but characterful staff....and customers! Certainly not one of the generic chain pubs. One on its own. Didn’t try the food, but what I saw looked nice, the menu looked uncomplicated and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a try!

Stopped over the other night at the Navigation Inn, parked up in our Motorhome. There is a big car park adjacent to the canal and pub and overnight parking is free, all that is asked is that you use the bar ( food or drinks...or even both). For a Tuesday night the pub was busy and very lively. Had a...

Stayed here agin last weekend & as usual we love it ! Great place to go for a walk then return to the pubs locally & finish up at the Navigation. Apparently it was owned by an ex Corrie star (Pat Pheonix) some time ago. They have a large selection of drinks & the food always looks fabulous with large...
