This beautiful building has manicured grounds and interior decor that matches the feel perfectly. It's almost next door to the Stonewall Jackson cemetery and Lexington's main street is a short walk away. Super comfortable bed and a lovely Christian devotional with the other guests at breakfast.

There's a reason that this property already has a solid 5 for their reviews. To start, I am admittedly high maintenance, and I am always hesitant with B and Bs and the bed, bedding and quiet. We arrived late on a Friday night and were met by Landey at the door. He helped us up to the second floor and...

Thank you very much for your visit with us and your review. You and your daughter were a real blessing. Our other guests (most of whom were parents of W&L students and frequent guests) enjoyed meeting you and your daughter and encouraging her to attend W&L. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. You are welcome any...

This was a last-minute trip by myself. I always wanted to go to Lexington VA and when I called up, Lany (sp?) was very generous and polite. I drove down the same day and the innkeeper was waiting for me! I stayed Monday/Tuesday nights. I was the only person in the Inn (being that it was a weekday) and the...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a generous review. Naturally we appreciate it when guests have enjoyed their visit as much as we have enjoyed their coming to stay with us. Essentially we're loving the privilege we've been given to enable others to have a memorable time. We look forward to seeing you the next...

My husband and I had a quick anniversary getaway/babymoon. We were pleased with our choice of Abigail Inn. The innkeepers are extremely gracious. We enjoyed chatting and getting to know them over a delicious breakfast. It's a great location for exploring Lexington. We had a lovely stroll from the inn down the street to enjoy dinner. Quiet and relaxing. We...

My husband and I stayed at Abigail Inn one night during our July 4th VA weekend, and it was truly a lovely experience. Even before we arrived, Landy, the owner, was kind (and patient) enough to answer a wealth of phone questions about the Lexington area, as well as the amenities the inn provided. Upon arrival, we were very warmly...

Becky and I were very glad to have you as guests, as its always more fun for us when we are privileged to meet people from all over the world and to learn from them. It was a delight having you here and we're glad that you enjoyed your time here and in Lexington. You are always welcome at Abigail...

We stayed here for only one night en-route to Williamsburg but had we known how delightful this house is we would have welcomed the opportunity to enjoy another night for sure. The B&B is located within a 10 minute stroll of the center of Lexington and we enjoyed a romantic meal at a local restaurant and a pleasant evening walk...

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know that you enjoyed your visit. Often Becky and I are so thrilled to visit with our guests that we wonder if they're enjoying the time as much as we are. Being in the B&B business is such a joy for us, as we have the privilege of meeting...

This beautiful former fraternity house converted to a B&B is a lovely, spacious place to stay. Our king size bed was the most comfortable I can recall and the redone bathroom was spacious with a terrific shower. The owners, Becky and Landy, are welcoming, gracious hosts. Breakfast was delicious

Thank you for staying with us as you returned home after attending a wedding in North Carolina. Becky and I had no idea how many friends we would have in common with you. The conversation with you at breakfast was simply delightful. We look forward to seeing you again.

Abigail Inn is an exquisitely-furnished historic inn built in 1928 and located a short walk from downtown, home to Washington and Lee University and Virginia Military Institute. We stayed in the Robert E. Lee room with a romantic four-poster bed and exquisite Renaissance furnishings. We enjoyed our gourmet and very ample breakfasts with other guests at the 20-foot long dining...

Thank you for your comments. It was indeed a delight to have you and your husband stay with us before other guests took over the entire Inn for a major three day function . We enjoyed so much the opportunity to have a relaxed visit with just you two after breakfast. Do come again when you can.

Marty, Having you and your classmates here for your 30th Reunion was just so much fun. We're not sure who was enjoying themselves more - you and your classmates or Becky and me having the privilege of hosting you. Hopefully you and other members of your class won't wait long to return. You all were fabulous !!! Landey Patton

My husband and I spent a wonderful 4 days at this stately, well-kept, and well-located inn. We were traveling with our 18-month-old who enjoyed wandering around the spacious property and its lush green lawn. We stayed in the Washingtoon Room which has lots of space including a roomy closet that can accommodate a Pack-n-Play. The room is tastefully appointed (much...
