B&B just a few miles out of Lexington, VA. Nice country drive, very nice owners. Quiet, was able to sleep with the windows open for a change. Breakfast was better than what you might receive at a lot of restaurants. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

We were welcomed warmly. Soon after our arrival we got spoiled with a glass of white wine. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. It was a hearty breakfast with home-baked muffins for dessert. We stayed at this great b&b for one night. The Vermeer room was superb. The Jacuzzi tub is a great way to relax after a busy day...

Thanks for the nice review - we would love to have you back anytime. However, just to clarify - the house you were in (the original old farmhouse) does have air conditioning which we are happy to run when needed. However, like yourselves, when possible we find guests prefer the fresh breeze from windows open and ceiling fans if it...

My husband and I just returned from a weekend at this B&B. We went with another couple, and stayed in the main house. We all enjoyed our stay; large rooms, nice grounds, tasty breakfast, and interesting art work to enjoy. We especially loved the evenings around the fire pit between the main house and guest house. Great opportunity to chat...

Our room was lovely - good size, lots of windows (that opened!) clean, cool and comfortable. Bath had all the amenities, roomy and clean. Common room and patio too, delicious breakfast - we would definitely return!

Love going to Shenandoah and visiting the array of B&Bs, and this is definitely one I will return to. I didn't participate in the art classes, so I think I'll sign up for that. This time was all about relaxing, and it was the perfect place for such an occasion.

We only stayed for one night for my girlfriend's birthday, but it was a wonderful experience. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, the room was very nice (the heating wasn't working when we stayed, but the weather was warm so it wasn't too much of an issue). We stayed in the Dali room, the Jacuzzi tub was a great...

Thank you, Keith, we are so glad you enjoyed yourselves. Hopefully next time you can plan a longer visit. Just wanted to respond to your comment on the heating - it was turned off when you came as it was warm. BUT, with a press of the power button on the remote control it would have been working. It is...

I chose this bed and breakfast on the weekend that I proposed to my girlfriend (now wife) based on some solid reviews. The following are my thoughts and experiences. Location: The location is on a nice quite street, which is nice if you live in the city like me. The B&B was well kept and while there was some yard...

First of all, let me just say that we keep very detailed records of our guests and the person that wrote this review stayed with us in October of 2013 and his real name is Adam. He paid $139 for his room per night plus tax. He had a favorite room in the Manor House - the Rembrandt room that...

We stayed a night at this B&B on our way to the Shenandoah National Park. The main house is beautiful with old furniture and pianos. We couldn't spend much time here but maybe there would be a next time.

We recently hosted two plein air artist retreats at Shenandoah Manor B & B in October. The retreats went very smoothly and everyone seemed to enjoy their stay and experience. The location is very scenic and I can imagine, beautiful at any time of year. The rooms are very very comfortable and nicely decorated and associated with famous artists. Artists...

We spent one night at this b&b on a weekend getaway. From the picture on the website it looked very nice but we soon found out that you do not stay in the nice house but in an adjacent building. The room was very clean but cheaply furnished. The breakfast was very plain and lacked flavor. For $200. we could...

Carmen, So sorry we did not meet your expectations. Just to clarify, there are 3 rooms in the Manor (main) House and 5 rooms in the Guest House. All eight of our rooms are nice, the ones in the Manor House are just older and each have their own private balcony. You were traveling with 3 people and did not...
