My husband and I went to this bed and breakfast 17 years ago for our honeymoon. This year, we celebrated his 40th birthday there!! Wonderful and friendly staff, great accommodations and the scenery is breathtaking. The saffron gnocchi was just to die for, hands down it's the best dish I have ever eaten. The food was perfectly cooked, seasoned and...

We spent one night here as a rest stop driving from SC to NJ. It was the perfect place to relax and wind down. The 40 acre grounds are beautiful. Horses, alpacas, and friendly cats. We walked around the property before enjoying wine in the outdoor seating area. Had dinner on site, so no driving, and it was equal to...

Step back 200 years in time and experience life at this original southern plantation complete with all the out buildings near the manor house. Sleep in the old kitchen or carriage house, now updated with modern bathroom facilities. Wander the beautiful grounds, sip a refreshing drink on the romantic porches or the hammock, and end your day with a fabulous...

We just stayed at the Prospect Hill Plantation Inn and enjoyed it very much. The Inn is located on beautiful grounds; our room in the main house was very clean and comfortable even though it was the smallest room - The evening dinner was wonderful. We would definitely recommend eating at the Inn. Great Hospitality. There is still some refurbishing...

We live relatively close & wanted to get away without going all that far. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Located along one of Virginia's most scenic Virginia ByWays our drive in was as relaxing as our stay. The history of the property and those who work there are second to none! It is close enough to quickly run...

The four course dinner on the prix fixe menu was out of this world. Beautifully presented, each course was more magnificent than the one before it. I ordered the duck but the young waitress got it wrong and brought me rack of lamb. Since the wait had been very long and I like lamb, too, I didn't say a word....

The rooms are pleasant, The hospitality is the best. We asked about a mat to make the tub less slippery and a brand new mat arrived by the end of...

My wife and I along with 3 other couples dined at their lovely restaurant recently on our first night there recently and the food was superb. We were greeted pleasantly and seated promptly in their main dining room at a table of eight. We all ordered wine from their wine list and then all carefully perused their interesting and varied...

We stayed here for my wife's birthday and arrived after some hiking in the nearby Shenandoah National Park. The Inn is lovely, our room was clean, quiet and very pretty. The hosts and servers were friendly and the chef was exceptional. Had Friday night dinner there and my wife said the sea scallops with risotto was the best she ever...

We booked our stay at Prospect Hill for our anniversary weekend. They didn't disappoint! Beautiful views, great privacy and wonderfully attentive staff. We stayed in the Sanco Pansy cabin and couldn't have been more pleased. We had a private drive so we could come and go as we pleased. Our mini fridge was stocked with complementary champagne and water from...
