The Basics: You won't find a coffee maker or shampoo. They've give you towels, small bar soap, an ice bucket and 2 plastic cups. The ice is inside the office. There are 2 soda machines and news paper stands. I don't know anything about the channel offerings because they have free, fast wireless and I bring my lap top everywhere.... More

It looks like an old travel hotel from the outside. Well kept and painted jewel on the side of the road. The rooms are small but clean and updated. The bathroom was new as well as the carpet. The bed is standard but clean. The staff was friendly and answered all questions. I will definitely stay here again when I... More

Nothing too remarkable about this hotel, but if you are in the area and need a place to stay on your way to Appomattox or Lynchberg, it is for you. Quiet and nicely decorated. The price is right for the hotel.

Stayed at this Inn about 12 years ago and was satisfied with everything they offered. The Inn was very clean and maintained. Recently we again were in the area and chose to stay at the Inn. I believe I stayed in the same room as before by remembering the peacock Muriel's. The bathroom was completely renovated with everything new. Again... More

Simple, plain, clean (my room had new bathroom), carpet not worn, hand-painted mural on the wall, quiet, good parking, very friendly manager who was there when I checked in, and when I checked out. My room was in the back, next to a cornfield, #39. Bed was fine for me, but inexpensive mattress.

A great value. Clean and quiet. LONG parking spaces available for cars with trailers, RVs, and work trucks. On the northbound (east) side of US 29, U-turn points along this divided section of US 29 provide easy southbound access to the Village Inn.

Read reviews prior to booking and was pleased to see how true they were. My companion commented on room being clean and fresh smelling immediately upon entering, more so than many other places visited. Resident manager very pleasant and helpful, offering dining advice and anything to make our stay pleasant. No frills so bring your own shampoo and hair dryer.... More

Stayed here since it is the only place between Charlottesville and Lynchburg. Owners were very nice and welcoming. Check in was a breeze. Parking is directly in front of the room which was nice. The room was not fancy but very clean and smelled nice considering it was a smoking room. If you are not looking to spend a lot... More

Loved our 2 nights here - not a fancy pricey place - very inexpensive but clean, quiet, and a hairdryer from the office. Art mural painted on to the wall of the bedroom was a nice touch. Friendly local owners. Not much to do in Lovingston, but be sure to eat at the Lovingston Cafe - good food, family owned.... More

Our room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave but they do have rooms available with them. So if you want one I would recommend you request it when you make your reservations. Also there are not any hairdryers or coffee makers in the room but they do have coffee in the office. It is VERY CLEAN and smells fresh. Not... More
