We could not have been more pleased with The Residence B&B! The Caylors are wonderful hosts. The breakfast is perfection and the Pearl S. Buck room was wonderful. In fact, the bed was so comfortable that I slept soundly for over 10 hours!

We spent two nights at George and Joanne's B&B. My first B&B, by the way. I really enjoyed it. Joanne is an excellent cook and made interesting breakfasts, excellent coffee, and plenty of it. George was very entertaining. The rooms were nice, the decor was very inviting. We walked to a restaurant two blocks down that was excellent and we...

I stayed here for a few nights and George was great, he took me on a wonderful bike ride around the area. I really appreciated his hospitality, it added a personal touch to my visit and I got to see a different side of Lynchburg.

All the hotels in Lynchburg were booked up so I stayed at the Residence B&B in Lynchburg. I never stayed at a B&B and was apprehensive not knowing what to expect. For the short time I was there is was great, the home is amazing and had push button light switched and radiators. I would recommend people to take the...

My husband and I stayed at the Residence B & B after dropping our daughter off at Liberty University. It was located in the town, which was about a 12 minute drive to the college, and this turned out to be a good distance from the more heavily populated main drag closer to the college. We never minded driving to...

My 16 yr old daughter and i enjoyed our stay better than we would at any hotel. JoAnn and George was very welcoming and...

We arrived to find the hosts decorating for the holidays and that was very welcoming. Next we discovered George and JoAnn were attending the same Christmas program we were and they offered us a ride. The home was warm, the fellowship was good and the breakfast was very pleasing. If we find ourselves in that area with a need for...

After a cross-country journey of four days and three nights on Amtrak, it was great to see George's smiling face at the Lynchburg train station that late September evening and know we would finally get a good night's sleep! It was a quick ride to The Residence, where JoAnn made us feel right at home. We had the beautiful William...

My wife and I had a great time at The Residence, staying there three nights in September. George and JoAnn were very nice and friendly, their home was large and inviting. JoAnn prepares a gourmet breakfast each morning - you can tell she puts a lot of effort into this. The house is in a great neighborhood, with some restaurants...
