We made a trip to Elkton, Virginia to visit family. My SIL is an owner in the timeshare at Massanutten. We had stayed in her condo previously and it was beautiful. When she offered to reserve a room for our visit in the "hotel" portion, we agreed to give it a try, The "discounted" owners rate was $100. We were...

We stayed at Massanutten Resort a couple times for 7 days (most recently March 2015) and liked all the amenities, space and price. We really appreciate the military discounts Massanutten Resort offers! There are lots of indoor and outdoor activities for kids: skiing, ice-skating, indoor & outdoor swimming pools, a large indoor water park with "surfing wave," restaurants, adult and...

The Massanutten Resort is a full- service resort tucked away in mountainous central Virginia. With 3000 plus hotel rooms spread over several miles and a full scope of activities, it is a lovely excursion for a day or two or more. HOWEVER, we were there for a single night and the check- in procedure took a huge portion of that...

We rented a property within the resort from a private party. Very nicely kept. Safe Feel. Amenities were good. Lots of deer wandering around to help the rustic feel! Waterpark nearby - we didn't go as it was terribly expensive. Overall very nice.

Massanutten Resort is worth every penny you pay in this timeshare! We went with my in laws who own. It is one of the best timeshares I have ever been to! There is so much todo here and the views are beautiful. Every day, we would see deer on the side of the road no matter where we were going...

We have stayed at dozens of resort through the years and this one has no bad issues but you have to drive to everything from pools to mini golf. and pay additional for most things. check-in was very busy but moved quickly but I could see how it may not. you have to get parking...

Our hotel room was only $105 during prime season and it was great! We overlooked the pool. Hot tub and rec center were a short drive away! Has a store, gift shop, restaurants, 2 pools, 2 rec centers. Our hotel room however was 2 1/2 miles from the check-in desk! This ski resort is huge!

We stayed in Woodstone and it was very nice and peaceful. Well stocked and clean. We had a partial kitchen which included a griddle, gas grill, microwave, toaster oven, double burner hot plate and a electric skillet with lid. The resort was very family oriented with lots of activities.

We stayed with friends who have a time share at the summit. The unit was large - actually a lot of wasted space we decided. There were two bedrooms and two full baths - one with a spa tub. The kitchen was well furnished with silverware and dishes for 8. We had a view of the golf course, but some...

If you are used to resorts that include free amenities at the resort, please do not stay here. It appears that everything outside of the Activity Center costs. There is no water park band included in your stay. That will set you back $30 per person. Even the mini golf costs. Why stay here if you have to pay for...
