We had a fantastic holiday at Seatoller House over the Easter weekend. All four of us stayed there, as well as my daughter's partner, as part of the Tricouni club meet. Trish and Nigel made us feel very welcome and looked after us really well. It was my husband's 60th birthday and Trish baked him a delicious chocolate cake. We...

'My husband and I have been coming to Seatoller house for many years. The house has a very special ambience and we enjoy the traditions of conviviality with other guests; sharing stories in the guest kitchen after walks and in the comfortable sitting rooms after the evening meal. The food is excellent and the rooms ( all different) attractive, comfortable...

Not your ordinary B & B, Seatoller is a homely place full of history and character. Hosted by Trish and Nigel you're sure of having a good time. If you're looking for mod cons, tv's and hot tubs this is not the place for you. But if you want a relaxing time where you are properly welcomed, served great food...

The date recorded for this review is wrong because I have shamefully left it so late to write this review and trip advisor hasn't given an option for earlier dates. The date we actually stayed was September 2013. I don't know where the time has gone and we have been very busy since with house moves etc not really a...

We recently stayed at the hotel over a weekend and were looked after wonderfully by the hosts. The house retains virtually all of it's original features and is warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and the communal eating arrangements were very social. The location, at the top of Borrowdale is a great base for rambling along the valley bottom,...

We have just spent a great weekend staying at Seatoller House when a friend took over all the accommodation to celebrate her birthday. It was like a house party. Great food provided in the mornings and the evenings with a relaxed atmosphere. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

We have recently spent three nights at Seatoller House, in the beautiful Borrowdale valley. The welcome we received from Nigel and the beautiful food provided by Trish, together with perfect weather, made our visit one to remember. they have the visitors books dating back to the 19th century which make absolutely fascinating after dinner reading. It is an ideal spot...

We had a fabulous house party in this home away from home. The management and staff are superb and did everything to enhance our experience with great food and more than comfortable rooms. The history, character and philosophy of Seatoller House is totally unique. Thank you Trish and Nigel for everything.
