Fantastic setting next to the natural bridge. Hotel room was lovely and hotel itself is very historic. Was perfectly situated as we planned to go to the evening illumination of the Natural Bridge which was literally opposite the hotel. The evening buffet wasn't that great and we realised afterwards we could've eaten a la carte in the sports bar. Still...

I booked this hotel through a Groupon deal so I got a great price. I was so excited to bring my kids there because I loved it when I had been years ago. The hotel was pretty disappointing - the room was clean but very, very outdated and my veranda room was really more like a motel room with a...

If I could give this hotel no stars, I would. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. To start we showed up and checked in, received our passes and tickets vouchers that we purchased in one of their package deals and were sent up to our room. Showed up to our room to find that not...

During our trip back to Massachusetts, I made the mistake of booking this hotel without reading any reviews on it. It was late at night and we were exhausted from being in the car all day. When we first pulled up to the Hotel it looked beautiful and lobby was gleaming. The clerk that checked us in was very friendly...

First, the room was on the third floor (no elevators) and they failed to disclose this information. This wasn't a problem for me personally but it would be for couples with small children or persons with health issues (breathing problems, wheelchairs etc). Good: close to natural bridge, free parking Bad: not very clean, restaurants attached to hotel too expensive (...

We were told the King Mountain View room had a bath tub when we booked this hotel. When we arrived Thursday, August 20th it looked great from the outside and in the Lobby. That changed when we got to our room. The door was open for no apparent reason. When we entered we found a leak from the ceiling into...

After being very excited about visiting the area and choosing to stay at the historic hotel, I was very disappointed by the accommodations at the cottage area. I understand that they are renovating, but $244 for two weekend nights is a bit much for such a depressing room. And worse yet (and this sounds pretty sad) when a guest has...

We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights here while visiting the area. Our room was newly renovated and in great condition. We found it to be very clean and met our needs perfectly. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, with lots of options and great service. The staff was very friendly and helpful; there were many activities and nearby attractions...

We stayed at this hotel from 8-19-2015 to 8-13-2015 as part of a Road Scholar program. When we arrived, the lobby was packed with people. Some of them had been waiting for hours for their rooms. That should have been our first clue as to how our stay would go. Two days in a row, our room was not cleaned....

This hotel is a classic in the area, having quite the history around the building. The rooms are very basic, the air conditioners really had trouble keeping up with the heat outdoors and the shower drain had some issues keeping up with the water and I was the only one taking a shower. If it wasn't for the historic charm,...
