The campsites were good. The park stores and restrooms were clean. The staff was excellent and great with the kids. We really enjoyed the optional rafting trip down the James River! The golf course could use a little more carpet, it was pretty worn, but the kids certainly did not complain. The climbing gym in the middle of the lake...

We drive a 40 MH with a tow vehicle. We were heading West to Louisiana and decided to stay for one night. We checked in and the staff was pleasant. They assigned a sight and all was well. On the way to the site, we could not avoid several low hanging branches. When we got to the site, it was...

This was our 4th year camping with a group for July 4th weekend. We opted for the upper sites in order to have our group together. The only complaint is two of us ran over the fire pit in our vehicles and two people tripped over it. The adult who tripped fell into the pit and scraped himself up pretty...

Awesome family-oriented campground . . . My kids want to be active from the time they get up until bedtime . . . and you can do that here! Slides, pool, putt-putt, water park in pond, James river runs by campground, activities throughout the day. EVERYTHING!

Every time We have stayed here its worth every penny. The staff are great. The updates that have been done last year are awesome. Outdoor theatre is cool when you can lay on a blanket with your family and really enjoy it. The management staff are great. I personally met the owner and he was just like a staff member...

There was so much for everyone to do from kickball with the campsite, outdoor movie, swimming, dance party, crafts...it was hard to choose. Things were neat and clean and the staff was very hospitable. My only complaint was the signage was unclear on how to get in and out, but staff was very great in helping us.

We visited the campground with our daughter, 9 years old. She had to play slide down the waterslides, run & play under the rain sprinklers, & they even set up a slip N slide for the children! I have lots of pictures of her, laughing, sliding & playing at the campground, even on the playground and riding around on the...

I stayed there last summer on my way from CT to GA. I have an 8 year old so the amenities were spot on. This is a nice property with lots to do. We got a riverside spot which was worth the price. Looking forward to getting there again.

Camp sites are really close together. We heard the sound of a train all night. The bathrooms weren't extremely clean. It seemed overpriced for what you get. I guess this place would be better for a family with kids.

Thank you for your feedback. It is always disheartening when a guest has a less than great time at our campground. We are definitely a family orientated park that offers so much to do for the price that is paid for the site or rental. We apologize if the bathrooms were not as clean as you felt they should be...
