We stayed in this friendly little riad for just one night We were greeted by the nice family who run this riad. We arrived by car and parked in the wrong place quite a way away and our host thought nothing of treking back with us to show us where to park nearby. Totally recommend ,clean nice breakfast and very...

Great stay with very friendly host - even took me shopping - it is in the old Medina and you just feel you are in Marocco - rooms are basic but comfortable and great value for money - must visit - i will be back some day - can highly recommend this experience when you visit Safi

Do not confuse this medium-sized hotel in an ancient building with the confusingly named Riad Asfi Hotel, up the hill from Bab Chaaba. After entering the Bab, you follow a sign up the second street to the left and the riad is on the right after 100 yards or so. It is full of decorative elements chosen by its young...

I paid to sleep in Riad Safi but couldn't because when we arrived there was nobody there to let us in, despite our reservation! After 2 hours trying to get in touch with the owner, telephoning, banging the door, shouting, friendly neighbours trying to get in touch with the owner, I left a handwritten note and we had to find...

We ended up in Safi by accident and after some confusion with some helpful locals over where we were staying, we were taken through the old medina to Riad Safi. We were shown to into the riad with its typical blue hue, past African artefacts, old board games, and buddhist emblems to a saffron-coloured room with a four poster bed...

We stayed there one night. The staff is kind and accomodating, and the room is clean, but overall the hotel is overpriced for what you get. Hot water is really scarce (even though we asked for that before taking the room, and they smiled at our question): if someone else has taken a shower before, you will end up with...

Kareem the hotel manager was very helpful and made our stay truly memorable . We would definitely stay here again if we pass by Safi . NB - note that this hotel is located in...

We spent 2 nights in this riad, and loved every minute of it! Because of a mistake, the hotel owners did not know we were coming but the "guard" welcomed us very friendly (with, off course, delicious mint tea). He also guided us through the city (pottery and port) so we could see "the real Morocco". Breakfast was nice, rooms...
