This guesthouse in Tapovan is run by a lovely family, which is always trying to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. There are 18 rooms of which 9 rooms are with kitchen and refrigerator. The guesthouse is right next to the mountains. From the rooms you can enjoy the beautiful mountain view and there is a big garden outside of the building where you can relax in the grass. There is also spacious parking and free Wi-Fi. The location is just 10 min walking from the main road if you don't have your own vehicle. The environment is peaceful and safe, home away from home!

I stayed here in January, 2020 and it was the worst experience of my life. It was 2 degrees outside and there is no heating and no glass in the bathroom window and poorly fitting windows so the place is beyond freezing. The rooms are not clean by European standards and the bed linen was so bad my face puffed up every morning and the mattresses are thin and old and rest on a piece of hardboard. There was no water in my taps. There are dogs which live in the building which randomly bark all night and no one keeps them quiet. I couldn’t wait to leave. Please see photos.

Hi dear,we are sorry for the bad experience you had in our place,it is true the room in first floor where you were staying is old and not in good condition,we are planning to renovate the all the first floor room,and we have many kind of room and all the pictures is genuine and real in the page ,and room are new which you see in the picture,but you had to stay in first floor room as it's given to the yoga organizer,but next time you will have proper new room ,even in first floor, sorry for your uncomfortable stay .

I have been coming every year to this lovely guesthouse. It's a great place for family. The children can play in the garden. Now they also have a small cafe in the garden with wonderful coffee and homemade desserts. Highly recommended especially for people who want to live in a quiet place tucked away from busy Rishikesh.

We stayed her for 4 nights April 2019 while touring by motorbike.The garden setting is nice and the room with balcony on the corner was great..Caught the breeze and was a very cool room to sleep in.Hot water was always good . location was ok although quite a fair walk back up from the main bazzar and bridge. On the plus side to this there is no traffic noise at night The only down side to staying here are the hotels dogs which do tend to bark in the evening and early morning as people walk by.Good value for money and clean rooms. Recomended Place to stay

After long journey i arrived at nishant garden,been few time already in rishikesh ,it was my first visit to this place,once i reach here ,i just fall in love with the area,such a calm place with so cozy rooms,and and amazing mountain view,the best thing of this place is its right next to the mountain,and big garden outside make this place perfect,i will always come here,Thank you sonu for making my stay comfortable..

such a, amazing place to spend your holiday in rishikesh,far from the noisy areas of town,even though its only 10 min walking distance from the main street but you are right next to the forest and full of nature,in general its hard to find a place in rishikesh who have a such big garden in property,i loved my stay in nishant,host are amazing ,very helpful,i stayed 3 weeks in nishant ,will definitely return here my next vist,thank you team for making my stay memorable..

Very nice family, nice rooms. I have a big room with kitchen,with beautiful view of green mountains, green garden wiht flowers, birds singing, rice field. Very quiet and village still, After a noisy day outside it is so nice to come to this relaxing place. For me Nishant is home. I cam for all the year so the month doesn't matter

It was little bit outside of main road,so I had to climb little bit,but once I reach the place I was amazed to see the location,It right next to the forest and such peaceful,they have big area with beautiful garden, spacious rooms ,I love staying here .

I stayed at Nishant for 2 months between October and December 2017. Solo female traveller. The team was unbelievably welcoming and friendly. They made sure everything was comfortable - anything I needed came right away. They even took me to the hospital when I fell sick. Maintenance was fast and thorough. Rooms were spotlessly clean (rare in India!). I stayed in both a "simple" room with a double bed and attached shower and then an apartment style room. The apartment (pictured) had a kitchen, double bed, large balcony, and lots of space. It could fit a family with a small child or two. This guesthouse is best for longer stays. There's no kitchen or restaurant on-site, so guests prepare their own food. It's located off the main road in Tapovan about a ten minute walk from stores. The crowd is mainly families and older individuals who like peace and quiet. Stay here! …

Wonderful and well equipped rooms, great location ( I really appreciated being in a peaceful location after some busy noisy days out in the town), Helpful host Sonu (Thanks for arranging some transports too) and great neighbors. Totally recommended as one of the best spots in Rishikesh for a great price!

we stayed here as a part of our tour of rishikesh.we enjoyed our stay here mainly because the peaceful environment and mountain view,guest house just next to the mountain.The host is amazing and helpful, help us on booking our adventure activities and renting a bike.Rooms are comfortable with a view of mountain or garden.you will have a peaceful stay guranteed, and so fresh air of mountain. just remember it's 10 to 15 min walk from main road.but you can access with you car or motor bike.i loved my stay and will return. .
