One of the few camps which is permanent. The trek to the camp ( across the river) is arduous though worth it. Be ready to carry children on your shoulder. Food is excellent , the place is very large . You have fixed (regular) toilets and not the camp toilets that you see in most camps. The waterfall is a...

Have been going there since 2006. This is indeed one of the best adventure getaway one can discover. Super reasonable too. Especially, for a Delhi-NCR dweller. Run by a man from the hills and a super experienced mountaineer himself, Anil Bisht and his wife Puja Bisht, and their team of sturdy, fun and chilled guys from the various hilly parts...

My first visit to Camp Ganga Riviera was 6 years ago. I had loved the hospitality and the tranquility of the camp so much that this time I decided to take 11 of my friends there in the Easter weekend. Almost all of them were visiting Rishikesh for the first time. Right from the trek to reach the camp, the...

We were staying right beside the river. The meals were excellent unlike what was expected. It was a perfect heavy meal with options too. Our guides dharam and jeevan were extremely fun friendly happy people. Anil Bisht coordinated with me before the stay with extremely prompt responses and helping attitude. Did not hear a no from them for anything. They...

We stayed here a couple nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. I gotta admit that, being a spoilt city child, one night was enough, primarily because of common bathrooms.. not to say there was anything worth complaining about.. special mention about the amazing food that these guys offer on every single meal..for both spicy and non spicy eaters.. and thank...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camp Ganga Riviera is ATI's permanent rafting/adventure camp on the Ganga. Situated at a distance of 35 kms from the temple city of Rishikesh, the adventure begins once you arrive at the road head. Unlike other camps we are 2 kms away from the road which ensures total privacy & the real feel of the majestic outdoors sans traffic noises intruding on your stay. These are replaced by natures sounds, the river gushing past us gives a peak of white water & the continous sound of water in motion along with that of myriad birds & jungle life ensures a symphony far more pleasing. ... more   less
