Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
goStops is a hostel concept where youth can stay in an hostel environment and have a "work from home" set up away from from home. As far as goStops Rishikesh Lashman Jhula is concerned, they have hygienic rooms and lobbies. The location of the hostel has a drawback and advantage both, drawback is the access by road as it is situated on the other side of Tapovan where most of the hotels are situated. Also the steep climb to the hostel from Lakshman Jhula Raod is not convenient when you have luggage. This height s also an advantage as the terrace has complete view of the Lakshman Jhula. Avoid it completely if you are with family as the atmosphere would be awkward for both you and other residents. IT IS FOR BACHELORS ONLY! This one did not have a kitchen so have arrange or all three meals from outside. Although we were not in need for a Wi-fi but this has wi-fi issues too.

Pros 1. Newly built property with nice ambience. 2. Hygienic washroom with warm welcoming staff. 3. Good internet connectivity for your office work. 4. The nicest aspect is that even if you travel alone, you can meet new people on the premises. Vibes are too good.
5. Avantika and Shubham are very supportive and can go a long way to assist you.
Cons 1. No fresh food concept. They serve ready to eat food with very limited options. 2. AC in the dorm will be available from 8am to 8pm. No request will be entertained for scrotch heating in summer. 3. You have to climb a steep elevation with your luggage. No support from property. 4. This property is completely surrounded by local houses. 6. No parking space for even two wheelers. 7. In the common area, the pool stick and TT racket are broken.

It's literally a hostel.. with no view, no good food 1. Booked a private room- got a room facing with balcony facing literall a wall. So all one side rooms have this pathetic . 2. No food allowed inside your private room even after paying bomb, food is pathetic inside and you can't order from ourside 3. No room service at all 4. I reached in noon , overpriced cafe with one or 2 dish. They were selling 90 ruppes masala maggi and 70 rs for coffee. 5.location is not great
Good things about the hostels
1. Clean rooms and bathrooms 2. Good wifi for working 3. Good rooftop view

I was visited gostops Rishikesh laxman jula, service was too poor & room was not clean, they was many stains on bed and wall & not proper lighting in the room. Main thing in the washroom, fiting came in ur hand when u used. And also when u go for eating in their cafe many things not available from menu. Room rate too costly in campar other hostels. I recommend not stay in gostop Rishikesh. It's bad experience for me. I m rating 1 their no option for minuses marking...

This is NOT a hostel. This is a family resort. the management is just projecting it to be a hostel for bagpackers and solo travelers. we have to share dorms with elderly families. you cant acces your bed or you locker. You are asked to leave from the common area by 10pm coz its time to sleep... coz elderly ppl are trying to sleep. This property has some funny rules. They donot have a cafe. even for a cup of tea, you will have to walk and climb up again.
Strict warning: if you're a solo traveler or an avid traveller or a bagpacker, never ever come to this property.

However, please note that we have a 'Quiet hour' policy that requires guests to not play loud music/make loud noises from 10 pm to 8 am to help ensure all guests at the property get a good night's rest in case of early morning engagements. Additionally, guests are allowed to sit and chill/work in the common areas for as long as desired. Internet is not here and the staff fools you with the assurance of rectifying the issue but never devise a solution. The amount charged is exorbitantly high compared to the facilities provided. Worst experience. Gostops has been a terrible experience and I would recommend everyone to find a suitable place other than this wherever you go.

This is an beautiful hostel and the location is very impressive , where you'll make friends And feel like a part of a family . This is the best place to stay in rishikesh as I got to meet two of your volunteer, charishma and prachi who showed me some wonderful places in rishikesh which makes my trip more happening, mesmerizing and memorable. The staff , tanuj and shubham is very supportive and kind. The city rishikesh became my favourite, and definitely the hostel go stops an excellent value for money. i highly recommend it!!!

I stayed at Gostops (lakshman jhula) and the staff was rude to us and guided us wrong when it came to places and timings. The community manager was not even available to take knowledge of the activities happening at the facility. The locker and washroom facilities were compromised and no one actually took an action on it, rather the staff went on to be rude to us for pointing that out. I was to miss the triveni ghaat aarti just because the staff told me the wrong timings. It wasn't a good experience to stay in the facility as the staff was really non-cooperative.

Amazing people, staff is very polite and very responsive. I would nightly recommend this hotel for the stay. Starting with the checkin the experience with staff, they will make you feel home. They have provided enough stuffs and specially water and fresh towels, even provided more than requested. They also had set up campfire for us, which was amazing adventures and exciting. Overall an amazing stay Great location and amazing service

A really well managed space in terms of vibrancy of colors, people and beauty of the place. Everyone including those who were part of the hostel were courteous and well spoken. Even I was travelling solo, I didn't feel alone and whoever I interacted with, it was full of warmth. I sat at the terrace one evening and had a long conversation with a stranger while enjoying the view of Lakshman Jhula, Ganga and Tapovan. It is more of a community feeling then just staying for a few days at the hotel :).
