Kunwar Residency has some awesome views to offer.Though Lakshman Jhula is not open for visitors, but still, the view it offers is fantastic. There was construction going on -24*7 at Lakshman Jhula and that made the view a little disturbing and noisy (but I am assuming that is temporary and will be over soon). Just a few steps down the hotel, and you reach riverbanks of Ganga- one could spend hours and hours there. Just round the corner, you will find a momo stall - excellent momos - cannot be missed at all. Good parathas at Ved restaurant and excellent tea (with extra ginger on request) at the tea stall in front of it - with some lip smacking bun maska ! Kunwar Residency does not have a restaurant - but it doesn't matter as there are enough food options around .

During our second visit to Rishikesh, we stayed in this hotel. This is undoubtedly one of the best stays we have ever experienced in Rishikesh. Located right beside Laxman Jhula, the location is great, and every room faces the Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple and has a gorgeous view of the Ganga flowing right in front of your room. The markets and restaurants are within walking distance. There is also a very beautiful Satya Sai Ghat next to this hotel where you can enjoy the evening Ganga Aarti. The manager, Mr. Suraj, was super helpful. I would like to say thank you to Mr. Suraj for giving us an early room upon our arrival at around 5:30 a.m. in the morning instead of 1:00 p.m., their normal check-in time. Thank you so much! Overall, I can say that we were very satisfied. The views were amazing, the room was comfortable, and the staff were very kind. We stayed in the newly built suite rooms 304 and 305. Infact we inaugurated those rooms.🙂. Anyway, the view from the room is awesome. Simply unbeatable. Food is good. And staff hotel is very sweet. The hotel is not very fancy but still rooms are very good. Must go.

Kunwar Residency is one of the finest hotels in Rishikesh. The location is the best and the view from the room is mesmerising. The staff is very courteous and prompt to help with anything you need. It is next to Laxman Jhula and opposite the Holy Ganga river. The room is spacious with all amenities. The taxi stand is very near and a 10-minute walk to the main road. The food is very yummy and the quantity is enormous. Paratha, poha, hash brown are lip-smacking. Would highly recommend staying in this beautiful place to make your trip memorable

Location of the hotel is very good. It is a 5 mins walk to Laxman Jhula. Rooms have excellent view of Ganga river and temples across it. The rooms are nice, having all required amenities. Particularly the recently refurbished rooms, are very good. Hotel staff doesn't care much about the guests. We tried to get information about the places to see nearby. The front desk people were not interested in sharing any information.

During my first visit to Rishikesh, I stayed at a 5 star hotel. While the hotel was good (as expected), it was far from the Ganges, Laxman Jhula and all the local action. When I travel, I like to stay in the best possible locations - I am not traveling to stay in good hotels that are far away from where I want to go. I came across this hotel while walking across Laxman Jhula and have been staying here since (my fourth stay now). Rooms are basic, clean with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. There is no fridge in the standard rooms, but they offer lots of coffee, creamers etc. The location is unmatched - every room faces the Trimbakeshwar Mandir and has gorgeous views of the Ganges and Laxman Jhula. The markets and restaurants are within walking distance. It is a short walk down to the ghat and the beach (where you can see several folk doing morning yoga). The manager, Mr. Suraj is super helpful. He has helped me each time by arranging taxis, Scootys or anything else. Yes, this is not a 5 star hotel. There are no fancy rooms. There is no great restaurant on site. But the location, excellent management and proximity to the main attractions is priceless. I will continue to come to this hotel on my annual trips to Rishikesh. It is a good Hotel to view the floating Ganga and mountains with famous temple of Rishikesh . This property is right on Laxman Jhula , after few steps down can reach on Laxman Jhula . From the balcony of the rooms view the Ganga and enjoy your tea sitting there is amazing and other side of Hotel is a Good market having many Vegetarian restaurants. Hotel staff is good and cooperative . They have kitchen for room service and their food is tasty . Only draw back is that kitchen is not round the clock they opens around 9 am that means no bed tea and they closes around 9.30 pm by which you have to order dinner around 9 pm . Also they dont have any restaurant or open area to enjoy your meal. Rest all other is nice in this Hotel particularly location is excellent , rooms are very good and clean simple toilet. Excellent location. The rooms and bathroom are very clean. Opt for suit room. View of Maa Ganga and Lakshman Jhula from private balcony was an awesome experience. Manager Mr Suraj was very welcoming & helpful. All the staff are very efficient, helpful & friendly.

Great views of Laxman Jhula, a courteous staff, Suraj at the reception was helpful. Hot water, a small heater and a clean room was all that was needed. Would have preferred a room at higher level, but the one I stayed at was one above the ground level and good enough. The gnd level ones may not have a clear view of the jhula. Lots of eateries around, and a temple right across the hotel.
