The good thing is its simplicity, a clean room & a cooler which will freeze you in the night. Food was good & chicken curry at dinner was awesome. Courteous staff. Small river stream at backside, a good spot to feel nature.

I have stayed at Ojas couple of times. It’s a property in nature’s lap. Greenery, mountains and river next to resort makes you feel lost in the nature. Good is like home cooked- fresh, simple yet tasty. Rooms are neat and clean. I always have great experience staying here.

For the 1st time ever in my life i had to cut my vacation from 2 days (15 and 16 Oct,2021) to 1 day, and only because of the pathetic Ojas resort!!! Due to extended weekend all the resorts/hotels in Rishikesh were booked but we managed to book rooms in the so called resort/cottages. The very 1st impression of the property when we entered was a disappointment. We booked 2 rooms but 2 side by side rooms could not be provided, so were offered 1 front facing room, the so called room no 19. Note that there was no room number mentioned on top of the door. We believe it was staff room. The bedsheets were torn and there were sandals and other stuff lying under the bed. When we asked Ashok, the manager, he said why need to worry what is under the bed!!!! The door handle from inside the room was broken, so room could not be locked. The tube lights were on using 2 wires plugged into the socket (just like the temporary connections our electricians do). On our protest we were offered another "proper" room. And what room!!!! The toilet door was broken, the toilet seat was pathetically dirty and overall bathroom was shabby and unclean. I was contemplating buying Harpic!!!! On asking for towels, they said they do not offer towels to guests!!! Finally we went to the kitchen to have our lunch. Lunch, are u kidding!!! Such pathetic food. If by mistake u get to look at the kitchen, u will not b able to eat any food. They had water dispenser but the water did not taste fine. We were then told that the RO filter was not working for few days!!! We somehow passed one night. The next day the owner of the property Anil tried to convince my fiend to continue day 2 as well. Needless to say, we would not have stayed even if offered free. One more thing we observed was that the same guys were working in the kitchen, were serving customers and were loading/unloading luggage from cars!!! I would consider the experience as our fault as we did not check the property in detail. But i must mention that with such shady properties, Rishikesh or say Uttarakhand tourism gets a bad name. I will be very cautious while booking properties in Rishikesh in the future.…

I have stayed in ojus on 14 Oct 2021 with my family very bad experience with hotel staff and owner they even don't know the meaning of professional and and customer handling. They provide Worst rooms to you, very Bad Staff, they did not provided basic amenities like water/towel etc. Fans were like that never ever cleaned in life. Toilet was in bad shape with so much dirty things around it. The bed linens are torn and dirty. There are no locks in the doors. The bathroom is extremely untidy. Food is very bad not hygeinic. The manager Ashok is very rude and don't behave like manager and he has one or the other excuse for the pathetic maintenance. Please avoid going there because various factors Backyard area a very dirty and not maintained.. Resort do not provide its own parking. You will have to park on hill road. And please remove swimming pool option from website there is no pool they make you fool. There is no main river you can only wash you feet in river here..so if you want to enjoy or explore so please don't go ojus ....worst experience in my life...…

Today on 15th October, I checked in with family. I was shocked with state of rooms which we were given. Worst rooms, Bad Staff. There is no negative marks. I request everyone never ever come here. Even they did not provided basic amenities like water/towel etc. Fans were like that never ever cleaned in life. We dear that dust will come on us if we switched ON fans. Toilet was in bad shape with so much dirty things around it. Door handles were out of shape and we were not able to bolt the main door. On complaint they did temporary arrangement. Food is main thing.... It's worst food I have ever eaten in my life. We have 3 times meal booking. In lunch we were provided only Dal, Chawal, Roti, Raita (bad taste food). Non-veg was out of question. I wondered how can Trip Advisor keep this resort on their site.…
