Of course you can't have high expectations for those kind of money. The place is dirty and not well taken care of. That's how it is, after all, it's also cheap. HOWEVER, this place could be alright considering the low standard that unavoidable comes with the low price, BUT they're completely ruining it with their ridiculously loud music. NO ONE...

We came to Siam Hut freestyling with our backpacks, we needed to wait for an hour or two to see if there was any rooms available, there was. Bungalow is new, clean and very nice. One of the best looking bungalows i have seen in chang island. Spot is very near the beach and small walk to restaurants and nightclubs....

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Siam Hut. 1st in November 2011 and this year Nob 2016. The huts are still the Tenko esque sheds they have always been. They are cheap and close to the beach. If you get a bungalow at the front you have an amazing view. The problem with Siam hut now is...

This is a really cool place, but many of the little huts are inviting anything from outside to come visit you. I stayed here for a couple of weeks, then moved down the road. But this was a lot of fun for awhile.

I enjoy stay in this bungalows vilage, backpackers paradise. They have pool facing the beach, safe place, beach partys, fire shows, good music. Great escape from touristic part island. Near you have store! All you need!

So yeah, the place is not the cleanest but you pay for what you get, which is a rustic hut on a nice rocky beach (if your hut is on the right side, alright, the other side is dominated by junk). But the real problem here was the staff, mostly men who would like to hit on women, particularly if...

This place is really good for what we paid, 200 baht a night in the bungalows at the back which have hatches not windows and our toilet had no water in it but I'm not sure if they all do. But they still have porches. We then moved to one directly on the sea front which was only 300 baht...

My girlfriend and I had an excellent time here so much that we came back a second time after travelling Vietnam. The staff was great to us and even let a German friend and I paint a mural on the bar. The second day the owner went out and bought us more paint to do more artwork around the resort....

I was not so happy with my stay at Siam Hut. It seemed that the whole reason the huts are built on poles, is to stash more garbage underneath them. If you would saw the poles from under the house, it would simply remain standing because of all the garbage. Inside is not much better, between all the cockroaches, a...

While traveling around the island on our scooter we stopped in at the Siam Hut to check out the hotel and beach area. Basic rates were posted from 380-480THB for the wicker huts. The Good: The lobby/restaurant and pool area looked nice and the atmosphere was pretty mellow during the day with most people just chillin’, eating or mapping out...
