Granada is scorching hot during the day. So I am happy we chose a hotel with a pool specially that we traveled with our 3 year old daughter, the pool provided entertainment when it was too hot to walk around town. The hotel has a great location near everything. The owner is super nice and welcoming, he is a great conversationist and makes genuine recommendations for restaurants and tours. The rooms are small but clean and had all the basics we needed. Although there is no hot water we didn't miss it as it comes out luke warm. The AC is not included in the room price and is $10 additional per night. Overall it was nice. Granada is beautiful and worth visiting.
Felt right at home at Hotel Maharaja! Loved the pool and warmth of the owner and staff. Perfect location for an easy walkabout to explore this charming town. The rooms are modest but really great for a group trip as the central courtyard makes it easy to gather. Very relaxed and lush environment!
I had the pleasure of staying at the Maharaja boutique for 4 nights and I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to maximize your experience in Granada. It is centrally located on the main restaurant street and close to all the major attractions, and yet is away from all the noise. You feel welcome the minute you step into the hotel. The lobby and interiors are exotically decorated that instantly put you in tranquil state of mind. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with all the amenities for comfortable stay. They are tastefully decorated with art, have new powerful air-conditioners and super comfortable beds. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I had an early morning flight to catch from Managua and the front desk promptly arranged for an affordable 3am taxi that was right on time. What makes this hotel unique is it's awesome restaurant. It serves the best Indian food I have had in Central America. Owner/Chef Bhupi personally supervises the place to make sure you have the best dining experience. I learnt from him that the spices and ingredients are specially flown in from other Central American countries to give it the authentic flavors. Even if one is not staying at the hotel, I strongly recommend giving this restaurant a shot. Granada is an awesome city to explore and my experience there was made even more special by staying at this lovely hotel.…
Thank you for being so sincere and polite! The hosts and especially the manager was a great help and a great person to have a conversation with! The hotel has a great location with an extraordinary interior. The food was great and the coffee was the best I ever tasted. Looking forward to coming back to this place! Best wishes from Lithuania!
