The place is so calm, run by very professional and helpful staff. This place has its style, it is very calm and pleasant budget option. Nice rooms with bathrooms are for 25$. There are two rooms with 1 shared bathroom between them (the door can be closed from inside) for 20$. There is wifi and also a possibility of breakfast... More

Good location, triple room for 28$ with shared bathroom. It was clean and confortable. You can use the small kitchen. Breakfast for 3$. The owners and employees are really nice and helped us for planning the rest of our trip. It's really quiet and safe, this is just not the right place to party and meet people!

My partner and I spent 6 nights at La Siesta and it was perfect for our needs. We paid $8 each for beds in a nice, spacious 4 bed dorm which was great value compared to other hostels we looked at in Granada. The kitchen, common areas, and bathrooms are clean and really well equipped. The real highlight of La... More

La Siesta has very clean and comfortable rooms, also great service from staff and owners; my friends and I spent there 4 nights and had a great time there, enjoying the small but nice common area. We were able to use the kitchen without problems and received advices from the owners about Nicaragua. It's definitely a great place to stay... More

La Siesta is located a few blocks from the center of Granada, but if you don't mind walking, it's a great place to stay. Small, well-maintained, clean, very pleasant overall. We had a double room and a dorm, I can recommend both options. Lady at reception only spoke Spanish, so unless you do too, don't expect much advice on what... More

I'm happy to report that my second visit to La Siesta was just as perfect as the first. My 3-year-old settled in quickly in the spacious rooms and the staff were super-friendly and helpful as ever: washing sorted, good tips for cycle tours and lunch, airport taxi arranged. La Siesta is unbelievable value for money.

Exceptionally clean hostal with very friendly staff and kind owners. Good value for the price, large rooms, and in a decent location, The breakfasts were tasty and the common ares are nice. About a five minute walk to the town square. Note this is a quiet place with quiet hours. The room windows face the common areas, so you hear... More

My friend and I stayed here for three nights and I can safely say this is one of the best hostels I have stayed in in Central America. It's very quiet, the rooms are very clean and the beds super comfortable. Breakfast is additional $3 and totally worth it. There is a beautiful courtyard with tables and single hammock chairs... We were recommended La Siesta by a traveller who had recently stayed in Granada. It is slightly out of the centre of Granada (about a 10 minute walk from the main square) in a quiet street. Close to a number of pharmacies (they seem to be on every corner in Granada!), a big supermarket & very conveniently located for one... More

I can assure the tripadvisor community that this is a genuine review which received a detailed management response before being unexpectedly removed. __________________________ In 4 months in Central America during which we stayed in 26 hotels this...
