We were booked at this hotel through a tour company out of Costa Rica, where we did a two-night stay. Overall the hotel is nice but no frills. Our room had a queen and a twin bed, very cold remote-control A/C, small TV with cable, updated bathroom with large shower, closet and a small desk. The room was very clean...

What a lovely place to rest and be near the city centre and all the attractions. Such an amazing quiet colonial style hotel. The staff are lovely and friendly, rooms so comfy and cozy. We fell in love with the place and are already planing to visit again soon. You can enjoy the lovely pool and feel so special.

I stayed in Hotel El Almirante on two separate occasions in December and January, for two nights each time, in the same room each time (room #19). This hotel is outstanding value for your money, it is clean, beautiful, modern, and only three blocks from Parque Central and the cathedral. My bed was a king-sized bed, very comfortable. Room had...

We stayed here a few nights while visiting Granada. The rooms are really nice and updated. There is a nice pool area to relax in. The hotel is close to the city center and is a good base. The hotel staff were all very nice. If this place is available don't pass it up!

El Amirante is five stars for a moderate hotel of great value. Staff will do anything to accommodate; perfect compact rooms; nice pool; tables to sit, work, or drink at in lobby and dining area, great key-electric system is environmentally friendly and saves $; good AC; and I didn't realize the first few days, great food! Always juice and fruit...

We both loved this beautiful and classic hotel in central Granada. A 5 minute walk from the central plaza but tucked away with a gorgeous garden, courtyard, and pool. The street side lounge and courtyard restaurant were both excellent. All of the culinary treats of Granada were still within easy walking distance. Clean, affordable, and comfortable rooms in excellent repair....

Stayed for two nights for tourism: The Good - hotel is clean and well kept - not to far from all the activity but far enough to be quiet - seems recently renovated or just really well taken care off - small rooms but good internet and hot showers. - the breakfast was pretty good as well The Not-So-Good -...

We enjoyed not only our first trip to Grenada but were pleasantly surprised with the Hotel. It was very clean, the staff were ALL excellent, location was great, we had a lovely breakfast and wonderful dinner there as well. All very reasonable priced. Would not hesitate to recommend and stay there again. See you in the near future!
