We came to this hotel with little planned, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The girl running the desk helped us plan tours, dinners, and had a laundry list of other suggestions for us. Definitely recommend this place for her help alone!

I agree with other positive reviews of this place, but I give it five stars especially for Gaby and Toby. Gaby is your boots on the ground in Granada. Whatever you need, Gaby will take care of it for you. It's what she does. While we were there, my wife had a medical emergency. Gaby immediately prepared a briefing of...

We booked at Il Padrino for three nights just until we could find a more permanent accommodation for our five week stay in Granada. We were thankful it was only three nights. This place has potential. They arranged pickup for us from the border with Costa Rica, which was much appreciated after a stressful and tiring time crossing. We were...

Gaby and her parents went above and beyond to make my time in Granada interesting and welcoming. This was my first time in Nicaragua, and it couldn't have gone better. From rides to/from the airport, to local tours and coffee in the morning... it was the "homebase" I needed.

Il Padrino is a charming small Hotel in the middle of Granada. The rooms are spacious with view to their beautiful garden. Gaby is a wonderful host - very friendly and super helpful!!! We stayed their for Christmas Eve. She helped us in getting a table at El Zaguan (delicious steaks!), shuttle Service to Managua, recommendations for Granada...- we felt...

The atmosphere was very well decorated with nice art and there was lots of plants that were growing in the open space. The hostess was very friendly when available and spoke fluent English. She is not always available, which is understandable of course. The room was well set up with plenty of space. Reasonably clean room except we did have...

My friend and I stayed here for one night and just loved everything about the place. The courtyard is beautiful. The rooms are simple but very clean and spacious. Gabby and her husband are so sweet. Gabby arranged for a car to pick us up in Managua and it was her Dad, who is a taxi driver. He was so...

This is a beautifully constructed, quiet hotel within a couple of blocks of the Catedral and all the tourist areas of Granada. Cool and quiet, with tile and a lovely garden courtyard, it's a great place to get out of the heat and noise of the city. Gaby was a great hostess, and makes you feel like you're in a...

We stayed at Il Padrino for 2 nights in Sept of 2015, then another night while passing through to Leon towards the end of our trip. Frightened by reports of taxi scams and robberies in Managua, we had requested that Il Padrino send us a a driver from the hotel to pick us up from the airport, for additional cost,...

From check in at 2:30 am on a Sunday morning to checkout the following Sunday. Gabby was absolutely amazing to us. The hotel owner(Gabby) and her mother are truly gems! We were helped with everything including a visit to an English speaking Pharmacist when my friend got sick. There is not a single bad comment on this hotel and we...
