Good location in the old old town, within walking distance of Parque Central. Quiet property. Comfortable beds. Lovely and helpful staff. While cleanliness wasn't an issue, much of the building, facilities, and rooms feel oldish and way overdue for a make-over.

Big spacious rooms, that are very light and airy, wifi is free and strong in communal areas and was also in my room (door number 1) the bathrooms are shared but clean and tidy, only cold water but refreshing in the morning, the shared kitchen has fridge, cooker and plenty of utensils, the staff also very pleasant and helpful and...

We loved La Mexicana. Great location, easy walk to the main square, central market and bars/restaurants but in a quiet spot so you can actually get some sleep (read not a party hostel). The owner Flor, her partner and Alejandro were both so genuinely friendly, we loved sitting and chatting with them. We both got very sick during our stay...

Hosts are extremely welcoming and always ready to help. Accommodation is basic but very clean, simple kitchen. Very quiet hostel, good base for exploring Granada and around. Very secure- doors kept locked at all times. Great Greek yogurt (made by the owner).

We stayed at the La Mexicana hostel for 3 nights and we could not fault it. It is the quietest hostel we ever stayed at and we liked it this way. But this is definitively not a party hostel. Flor the owner of the hostel made sure we were 100% satisfied with our stay at all times. The facilities, including...

So let's start with the positive things: it's the best mattresses we slept on so far and it's really clean. But the staff starts cleaning at 6 am. And as the walls are super thin, so expect this cleaning to wake you up. And when you kindly ask the owner to start a bit later that 6 she'll refer to...

We stayed here for 2 nights and it is great value for money. The rooms are simple but has everything you need, we were close to the showers and toilets which are basic but good. No breakfast included but it is close to all bars and restaurants. It is Aprox 1 block away from the older church in Granada which...

We stayed here for four nights, the room was clean and quite big and had a really powerful fan which meant it was quite cool at night. All rooms are arranged around a nice little courtyard with hammocks and chairs and a well equipped kitchen. The shared bathrooms are really clean and the shower pressure was good. Wifi is quick...

Good hostel. Good and clean rooms, we had a private double the room. Friendly people, nice play to chill. If you look for an relatively cheap place to stay in Granada you should stay here. Location is also fine, 5 minutes to the cathedral and the "restaurant strip".

“All rooms are fine i guess, we stayed in a private room (room #1). It was nice to have your own space after a long trip. Also it was not next to the sitting area but in the hostel, so there wasn't any noise or sun.”
