My partner and i stayed at Casa San Francisco in Granada for two nights in February. One of the special places in Nicaragua - the superb service, beautiful surroundings (rooms, garden and pool) and great breakfasts (the best we had during our two week trip) - a real treat. When we arrived my partner was not well, and the staff...

Thank you so much for your detailed review. We are really proud of our breakfast menu (10 different options for the choice of our guests!), but most of all, of our staff. Part of our goal is making our guests feel at home away of home; if anyone feels ill we always offer homemade natural recipes (like a chamomille tea,...

Very friendly, happy staff. Everybody smiling and helpful. Great service from everyone at the front desk restaurant, cleaning staff, and the bar. Exceptionally helpful and accommendating is Erika in the bar. Grounds and rooms very clean and well maintained.

You might find a fancier hotel in Granada, but you won't find a better hotel than Casa San Francisco! I spent seven weeks there (originally planned 4 weeks, but extended my visit 3 more weeks) in Feb./March, 2017. The hotel is in a great location....just across from the Convento and three blocks to the Central Park. There are probably 30...

Spent 4 nights on 2 separate occasions here and really liked it. First time around we had a lovely very large room with a balcony that also had a small fridge which was great. Second time we had a small room (one of the newer ones) that was quite nice as well. Both rooms had EXCELLENT bathrooms! Breakfast was good...

My husband and I spent 8 nights at Casa San Fran and enjoyed our stay in a room with a well equipped kitchenette and interior balcony. The staff is really what made our stay the best. They go above and beyond whether it's making breakfast, booking you a tour, or getting laundry done. We liked the hotel's location which is...

We enjoyed this hotel, it has a "Mexican" feel. Everything there is pretty and well taken care of. Our room was nice, there was a safe in the closet, important and useful, bed comfortable, nice linens, nice lighting, lamps that turn on and off with a touch. Bathroom beautiful, plenty of hot water. There is purified water by the pool,...

Thank you so much for you review! I am specially gratefull for your comment on the hot water; we have recently installed solar heaters for all our rooms, we are so proud of this ecofriendly investment! And we now that this gives us much better service for our guests (although it may take a little bit more time to the...

The room and all the common areas are very pretty. The pool and the rooftop terrace are very quiet and they are beautiful places to just chill out. The hotel is surrounded by flowers and plants, which makes it very beautiful. The breakfast is good and the people working there are very nice. Although, we had a room that was...

I spent two days at Casa San Francisco winding down after a busy week on a charity building project further north. It combines luxury with a relaxed atmosphere; the traditional building has been elegantly restored; nothing is too much for the owners and front desk staff as they seek to make your stay comfortable. It is in the heart of...

We spent three nights at Casa San Francisco at the end of January. We loved every minute of it. Owned and operated by sisters Terry and Nancy the hotel is a labor of love, with careful attention paid to all of the details. The hotel arranged to have us met at the airport in Managua. We were met by "Chips,"...

Usually stay here when I'm in Granada, but this time just passing through, I was curious to take a look at the new addition and reconfiguration of the reception. Last summer when I was there it was nearing completion. As it was check-out time, was able to take a peek at the new rooms - very nice. I'll take #10...
