Checked in. Then read the reviews. Having spent 3 nights here then returned for another they seem harsh (unless it was a stuff stolen one then fair enough). It's budget accommodation. No frills, no shiny stuff but ok. We had a private room which was clean and functional. The kitchens ok as are the toilets and showers. Not sure what...

Wow. We were shocked. We read about this hostel in the LP. It's the worst hostel we've stayed in. Not what LP promised. Just don't go. Employees sleep in the hammock all day and it's basicely a construction area. A real mess, with some shelters to sleep in. A lot of trash and it looks dirty. Not cosy or a...

We stayed here for three nights and had a private room. Staff was in the process of re-painting two rooms while we were there and the manager was shy but helpful and kind. Linens are washed by hand in the back of the hostel and on our last night, my husband woke up with bites from bedbugs. We paid $15...

The private rooms are clean and effort was put into the presentation of the linen. Breakfast was delicious and the artwork around the hostel is striking. Definitely recommend it for a budget stay because of the location.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in the dorm. The $5 per night is attractive but don't expect any luxury. We came on the recommendation of the lonely planet Central America on a shoestring book but I'd say this place has definitely got different owners now. The staff speak a little English but not a lot and some...

The owner is really awesome. The room is clean and everything is at good price. Best place for granada. The is few animals that are really cute that live in that hostel. You may be woke up by a rabbit that is liking your finger if you left the door open ! We will come back for sure !

This place seems to have switched management since LP was here last, because there's nothing good about this hostel. Dirty rooms, unfriendly staff, no facilities whatsoever, the owner (?) does not care at all and just watches tv all day. Horrible. We left as soon as we could.

We just checked out the bearded monkey and there must be thousands of bed bugs in dorm #2!!!! We found them in the morning walking around on our beds and backpacks! Although the receptionist was fair enough to give us our money for the night back, I'll never go back there!! He didn't take any actions for cleaning the room...

Don't stay here! The staff are rude and unhelpful when trying to book tours and transport the manager quoted us prices far higher than being offered by other hostels. The rooms are untidy, unclean and uncomfortable. Animals run around the rooms at night, I woke up to find a cat and a rabbit trying to eat items from my bag...

This is by far the worst hostel I have stayed in. It is filthy and the owner simply does not care. He stays up late watching the TV extremely loud not caring that his paying guests are trying to sleep. He continuously spits on the floor. There are no levels of security here and would not recommend :(
