My young adult daughter and I spent a week in Granada and after our first couple nights in another hotel, we found this treasure of a hotel and moved here for the next five nights. The rooms were impeccably clean, the beds were comfortable, shower...More
We loved this hotel. The rooms are basic, comfortable, clean. The garden and balconies are lovely and a great place to sit. The concierge was amazingly helpful and friendly and fun. We all loved it here. 2 adults, 2 kids ages 11 and 13.
The hotel is in a quiet side street close to the main cathedral square but away from the noise of traffic and late night gatherings! It is built around a square garden where breakfast is served and a pool garden complete with bar! All the...More
I have been coming to Nicaragua for 20 years and usually stay at the Hotel Colonial. This time I figured I would try something different, and I am glad I did. While our room was nothing special - its was clean and utilitarian - the...More
This was once a colonial home that's been converted and extended into a beautiful motel with three courtyards of gardens. One courtyard has a refreshing pool and another is where excellent breakfasts are served. It's friendly, very clean, and a quiet oasis despite the bustling...More
More than a place in the world, a house is a place in one's heart. El Patio del Malinche is more than just another hotel, it's a dream come true. We hope our guests will be able to revive and share with us the atmosphere of other times. We will be delighted to share our house, where life pours from every corner. Less

When we stayed at the Patio del Malinche they did not serve a breakfast buffet, but instead offered choice between different options, e.g. yogurt with granola and fruits or a great (giant!) fruit platter. We really liked it! Good quality of ingredients, adequate dish sizes and an excellent coffee. I am not sure if they may adapt in accordance with number of guests (we were very few back then), but I can say that we didn't miss a breakfast buffet. :)
