Enjoyed the friendly staff. Was a nice hotel in it's day but it's day has come and gone. Of course like most hotels they aren't offering any services, so stay at the cheapest clean hotel you can. Ice machine on the second floor was running but not giving ice. This one is ok, but certainly nothing special.
This hotel is the worst I've ever stayed in. i went to take a shower and the water doesn’t work, I called the front desk and they say I'll write it down.... No, you need to do something about it...There are 4 people here who need to shower and brush their teeth in the morning... and i paid 100 for this damn room the water better work... The person at the desk says they will call the manager and see what they want to do..... 30 minutes later i called back down and they say they will move us to another room. so we move next door... water works but it sounds like someone is grinding the floor when you turn the water on.. this hotel needs serious work and by the looks of it they only care about what the Lobby looks like... the lobby is nice but looks can be so deceiving.
Very nice staff, muchhhh better accommodations than the Days Inn down the street!! Would recommend for stay. Unfortunately we where there before July and restaurant and pool were still closed, but staff was great.
This is just a very old hotel. It needs some serious updating. carpets old, walls pealing, bathtubs/ showers need resealing are chipped and worn. In our room the knobs in the shower were backwards. the hot was on the right and the cold on the left and the knob turned the wrong way. Considering all that the room was as clean as they could get it and the bed linens were nice and fresh. One big reason i give it a two and not a three is because it is so close to the highway that you can hear the traffic from your room all night. typical breakfast with fake eggs and fake sausage, pasties yogurt some fruit, etc...
The manager on duty was very nice and helpful. The room was clean, but had an oder, probably from the old carpet in the room. The bath tub/ shower had mold in the caulk. The tub was clean, but they really need to remove all of the old caulk and get rid of the nasty mold. There is nothing that housekeeping could do better, the owners just need to update the old smelly carpet and redo the shower.
