Stayed recently for 2 days to explore the area before heading back home. A simply great venue, great hosts, great breakfast and nothing is too much trouble, rooms are perfect and free beers very welcome. I intend to return again. Whether exploring Arromanches or further afield it will have few rivals in the hospitality game, safe and secure parking for...

This is the 4th visit I have made to Normandy Beach B&B and the reason I keep coming back is because of the hospitality of Karen and Adrian. They are always willing to help and offer advice on where to go or where to eat. For a family on a budget it is fantastic. On this occasion there were just...

This was my second visit and it didn't disappoint. This time I took nine friends on six bikes and we had a great time riding around Normandy including the beaches and the Bocage. Facilities for bikes are perfect with plenty of under cover parking and drying facilities in front of the wood burner. Breakfasts as usual were BIG and TASTY...

Hi Phil. Great having you here, and really enjoyed your review. Of course we do actually have a few fresh croissants tucked away for emergencies...alongside the Pain au Raisins, Apricot Croissants, Palmiers, chouquettes, strawberry tarts and my favourite Almond croissants. Glad you enjoyed your suitably full, "Full English" every morning. While we see them every morning, actually it seems that...

Just stayed at Adrian and Karen's again. This is the fifth time I've stayed here, always on motorbikes. Ideally situated for the ferry from Cherbourg, Caen, or Le Havre. Lovely clean, well maintained rooms with the beach two minutes away. The home cooked food was good, all chowing down round the large farmhouse table. It was raining on the Saturday...

Stayed for four nights using motorcycles and explored the local roads and caught up with previously missed D Day sites of interest. Once again made to feel very welcome, Adrian supplied beer and conversation whilst Karin provided excellent cooking and pleasant company. Clean, convenient accommodation with safe undercover parking. They go that important bit further to ensure your stay is...

Hi Dave, Thanks for all your help during what was supposed to be a holiday for you - a great help having a few extra hands to drag those old beams around. Glad you managed to get out and about, and that the weather was acceptably kind - this year has turned out to be a real roaster -quite glorious...

Excellent B&B run by an English couple with real personality. Good accommodation, mostly in a refurbished barn, overlooking an inner courtyard with parking, some undercover. Copious English breakfasts cooked to order and dinner, by arrangement. Knowledgeable and helpful re any excursions, restaurants etc. Would re visit.

Three Bikers from Wales (Cardiff)....stayed 5 nights and we could not recommend this B&B enough... it was recommended by a friend and although I never write reviews anywhere on anything I thought it remiss of me If I didn't on this occasion. The relaxed ambience and Joie de vivre was lovely. Karen even tumble dried my jeans for me when...

Just stayed for four nights. Aromanches is a good central base for visiting sites on the British and American beaches and inland. There is a good range of restaurants and bars in the town. Karen (the landlady) looked after us well. The continental breakfasts provided us with sustenance to last most of the way though the day and a free...
