On historic bay in a wwII dday region. Elevator. Our room was non view but it had small view if you put your head out the window. Room was small which seems french typical. Not a hook or a hanger in the room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast typical french bagette, croissant, sliced ham, jams, toast, cereal, yogurt, cheese, hard boiled eggs,...

I didn't stay in the hotel, but ate in the restaurant. Hands down, the best fish and chips on the planet, made with sweet white fish. Spectacular view of the ocean. This beach has a unique story in the invasion of Northern France.

Took a group 18 motorcycles down and stayed for 3 nights. Great rooms with sea view. Welcoming staff very helpful and good service. Had half board and was good VFM. Bar prices a bit expensive but what hotel bar isn't. Would use it again.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in March. The hotel is on the quay at Port en Bessin, right opposite the harbour and fish market and the room had great views. The rooms are on the second and third floors above the restaurant and function room and there is no lift so don't stay here if you have...

It was obvious they didn't really want us there, as we were only having drinks. Service was surly and the drinks exorbitant. The tables hadn't been cleared, and I had to go inside the restaurant to find anyone to take our order.

Park in the large pay and display Place du Six Juin 1944 car park (free 19:00 to 9:00), so buy requisite hours and exclude the free hours. Do not try to drive to the hotel reception entrance on Rue Louis Hudebert - it is VERY narrow! Staff were very knowledgable regarding ferry crossings and keep tabs on any strikes that...

If you want a nice to stay on the ocean with decent rooms and great food than this is the place for you. The rooms are in need of some updating, but are comfortable and clean. It's a beach town so it is what it is. With regard to the food, it's fantastic. I recommend the oysters, the scallops, crème...

Beautiful / perfect spot, sea view from room and restaurant, very very good restaurant, we've had a great time. We missed a nice bar in the hotel and the bed was just too small, but we loved everything else. Most of the staff very friendly. No parking at the hotel but free parking 5 mins from the hotel.

We loved this hotel. It is ideally located seafront in Arromanches, with beautiful sweeping views of the mulberry harbor. We were on the 4th floor with breathtaking views. Parking was easy, we were instructed to park in the adjacent museum parking lot which was right next to the hotel. The large restaurant on the first floor is a great place...

Whilst the hotel is ideally situated overlooking the sea, the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. If the charges were substantially less it wouldn't matter. The room we had and two others I saw were basic Mdf small wardrobe and drawers and shelf for a dressing table. No bed side cupboard to put a glass of water on or...
