While a modest hotel this was one of my favourite places to stay during a road trip through Spain and France. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. We asked them for advice on areas to go hiking and they gave us some great places to check out (one of which is Cirque du Gavernie, a relatively easy hike to...

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of a backpacking trip, and booked on the same day over the internet. This is a family-run hotel, and the staff were all very friendly. The highlight is Aslan, the huge friendly dog! The location is pretty good; not right in the centre of town, but only a few...

the view from the room is just great and relaxing, the owners are so kind - ask them advice and they will do their best to please you, with a smile! - and I recommend one tries the local and fresh cuisine at the restaurant in the evening. the hotel is close to the center of Luz Saint Sauveur and...

Stayed here for one night during a road trip to Spain with my son. Arrived mid evening. The owners were very welcoming. They upgraded us to a bigger room with balcony for no extra cost simply because it was available and at that time of the it wasn't likely to be booked. Clean, comfortable rooms, excellent food, great location with...

Stayed here for 3 nights on a cycling trip. Great location for tackling iconic climbs in the area. Friendly & efficient service. Good food & value for money on a demi-pension basis. Located in a quiet residential area but only two minutes to the town facilities. Recommend a room with a balcony with views of the castle and the mountains.

Very good hospitality. Family hotel. Very good food. We received the cycling laundry service. We received consulting for our cycling and hiking trips. The hotel is situated in the center of the village. A good starting point for the cold of Tourmalat , the Gavarnie the Trounouse and Luz Ardiden.

We are cyclists, and having traveled to many countries to seek out beautiful places to cycle and stay, we have now come back to this beautiful location and charming hotel for the third time. Each time, we have stayed at least five days. The location is absolutely stunning. No matter where your room is in the hotel, the view in...

Had a four night stay during late May. Main purpose of the stay was to hike in the mountains. The hotel is basic, very clean, very comfortable, very homely and the owners are very friendly and helpful - we just loved every minute of our stay! We had a dinner, bed and breakfast (half board) package and the food was...

We stayed here for 2 nights during a tour of the Pyrenees. Our room was very spacious if a little tired and the small balcony looking out over the town to the mountains was wonderful. The standout part of our stay though was the restaurant and it's staff. The food was outstanding and despite their sometimes limited English and our...
