Beware. The hotel advertises that it is handicap accessible. It is not. There is no elevator and steep steps from the car park to the hotel and steps to the rooms which are on upper floors. Our room was twenty stair steps from the main floor. The room was sparse but clean even though the sheets were not changed for...

We just spent two nights at Clos du Buis and found the hotel to be wonderful in every way: friendly staff, lovely room, and an incredible breakfast of the usual pastries and bread but also homemade tarts, eggs, a selection of local jams and jellies, and even local honeycomb! A wonderful place to stay in beautiful Bonnieux.

An old house converted into a wonderful hotel but still with the feel of a private house. Great views over the valley from a very clean well appointed bedroom with its own telephone number for incoming calls and Wi-Fi. My wife wanted to paint so the garden provided the perfect location to do so undisturbed. She was able to keep...

Sadly we could only stay one night but this was one of the very best places we have stayed in years. Not fancy, just straight-down-the-line outstanding welcome and accommodation. The owners could not have been more welcoming. The room was really comfortable (great bed, good shower, fabulous views). Breakfast was exceptional. Bonnieux itself is a really lovely place, full of...

We had a wonderful stay, nice garden with pool and practical kitchen for dining in the garden. Lots of nice restaurants near by, we liked the one on the terrace the most. The rooms have high standard and fantastic view overlooking the hills of Provence. We will definitely go back.

We have visited the Luberon many times over the past few years and would never stay anywhere else except for this fantastic gem of a place in the heart of Bonnieux village. Great hosts, great rooms, brilliant breakfast and they even do amazing table d'hote also if required. Bonnieux is a lively medieval village with breathtaking views of the surrounding...

We hadn't been in Bonnieux for some time and we were curious to know if in August, the peak season in France for holidays, the welcome at the Clos du Buis was up to their usual standard. We weren't disappointed. Pierre Maurin et Co., manages to successfully combine a top B&B/hotel experience with a warm family type welcome and service....
