Can I just add a note about the transport to and from the hotel. As it is family run and very busy at lunchtimes you may have trouble getting a lift on the snow cat back up to the road until many guests have left. There is not a dedicated member of staff who does this job - even the owner drove us up there once . They also seem to give slight preference to people staying instead of just visiting for lunch - surely that is understandable. And you need to be patient. By the way - disagree with someone's comment that it is 20 minute walk up to road - no more than 5 if fit - ish and 10 if you are less fit. It is well publicised that this venue/restaurant is ski in and out and therefore recommended particularly for skiers - not for those with severe mobility issues as one reviewer appeared to have.
