Stayed here as a stop gap for legoland initially but found the hotel and the town really nice and pleasant to stay in. 2 bedroom apartments in the hotel were perfect for families. A gem. Would highly recommend this hotel Espically for families.

Spent two nights here while visiting Lego Land and was pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect- close to Lego Land and located directly on the town's main square with plenty of cafes and great restaurants just steps away. Free parking located nearby is a bonus. Our family room consisted of a queen bed and a set of bunk beds which was just perfect. The bathroom was large and included both a tub and a shower. Free wi-fi cut out a few times but wasn't a big deal. The breakfast was typical and not exciting but served its purpose. Would definitely stay here again.

We got a very bad room (101) Reservation said 30m2 for a family, but the room including bathroom was 20 m2 at most The room 101 is right above the street lamps and hotel sign outside. The light came right through the curtains which clearly didn't block enough light (don't close completely). Also the room is not in a corridor, isolated from noise, but directly to the staircase so that you listen all that is happening outside... And likely also viceversa you are heard from the stairs The room itself was fairly clean. The breakfast downstairs (in an ice cream restaurant) was similar to the room: basic and functional. Choices were limited and the quality was at best average. I agree that the italian owner is nice, but it didn't make up for a poor room/breakfast For the paid price i would have expected a better room and breakfast

Room very big around 8 or 9 beds in all just perfect for a large family. Only drawback was that we had to deal with a terrible heat wave around 38 deg. As the room is on the last floor the heat was tremendous. The owner had just one fan and during the night he used to give to us. staff friendly and room clean

This 3-star hotel in Gunzburg is extremely easy and minimalistic - there is no even a small fridge or minibar, air condition, kettle or cooler, a glass and a spoon in the room. But at the same time it is very cosy, clean and nice. Wi-fi worked perfect, the towels were changed every day, the room for 3 persons was warm, full of light and rather spacious. Although all the windows faced the main street we didn't hear any noise. But I suppose in high season it could be disturbing because there are a lot of bars and restaurants in this place. The owner Eugenio is very welcoming and communicable, he speaks German, English and Italian.

How this hotel can be ranked #3 in Gunzburg bewilders me. Or maybe we got a very bad room (101)? Luckily it was on the first floor, because there is no elevator here. You'll be carrying your suitcases up the stairs yourself (and forget it if you're in a wheelchair). On the other hand, it was right above the street lamps and hotel sign outside. The light came right through the curtains which clearly didn't block enough light (don't close completely). But that was nothing next to the strange odor that reigned in there, so you basically have to sleep with the windows open; not recommended for light sleepers as the closeby clock tower rings every half hour. The room itself was fairly clean, but the bathroom was really not (see pictures). The decoration came straight out of the 80's; a good renovation would be necessary here. The best part of the stay was the super fast WiFi with excellent reception in the room (although you'll need to find the password yourself because there is no staff on location to help you). The breakfast downstairs (in an ice cream restaurant) was similar to the room: basic and functional. Choices were limited and the quality was at best average. I agree that the italian owner is nice, but it didn't make up for a poor room/breakfast.

We stayed here after spending a full day in Legoland. It is just few minutes drive from there and located in a pedestrian zone. It has free parking place about 200 m from the hotel. I would recommend to ask the owner before arrive where it is so you do not have to look for other options. As the hotel is in the city center there are various restaurants nearby. Our room was a bit small for 3 or 4 people but perfect for one night. The price is reasonable and includes good breakfast.

We needed just one night accomodation before we went to Legoland. It's 4,4 kilometres from it and the hotel is located in the centre of the town. Nice hotel room and very big and good breakfast! Quiet during the night just in the morning be prepared for the bell ringing from the nearby church. Great deal for little price!
