I reserved one non-smoking bedroom with two beds. When I arrived I was given a room with one king size bed. The only two rooms available with two beds were smoking rooms. I declined. Instead I was given a roll away bed at no charge....More
Stayed here this past weekend . Upon entry I didn't know what to expect about the quality of the hotel being that it was only about 64 a night. When I entered the lobby I enjoyed the look of the double staircase but the decor...More
Placed in "Tower 2" outside door looks like it had been broken into before, old smell, completely dusty, bed had a thin comforter, kitchen area not clean & rusty, bathroom towels dirty, never got new ones after requesting, breakfast was awful
Don't let the website and the pictures fool you. This hotel is terrible. Very old, shabby, stinky and dirty. Furniture, appliances, bathrooms are old, carpets are worn out. The room was so smelly, we asked to be given another room. The second room had dusty...More
This has been my default place to stay since my daughter has been in college out here. I visit from Northern California. It has been a good value. However this time, the room rate was up and the service quality way down.

When the comments from past guests are so overwhelmingly negative, how is it that this facility still has a 3 out of 5 rating? Anything higher than a 1 would be generous. I stayed there last month, and time and space don't permit me to list all the things I found wrong. I will add just a few thought to what has been listed by other guests. The front desk associate did not even acknowledge me when I walked up; too busy staring at her monitor, when I arrived on the evening of 5/19. The bathroom had no COLD water. Can you believe it - only HOT water, which means I was unable to shower the whole weekend (spray what you got, I guess). When I told the same associate, who by that time was putting OUT OF ORDER signs on the elevator, she said "I'll make a note" -- golly thanks. The hallways were like saunas. The outside entrances that are supposed to be locked for security reasons and accessible by room keys, had broken locks (anyone could walk in without a key). This appears to be a situation where management is milking the property for whatever they can get out of it, without investing a dime to keep it up. Again, anything over a 1 out of 5 rating is being more than generous.

I take it that your question is, “how is it that this facility still has a 3 out of 5 rating”. Considering your items from other persons, including yourself, I would say you answer your own question, in that they don’t even rate #1 on the scale of usefulness. If you had read the previous statements on this place, you might have saved yourself some money & time. Better luck next time and read the reviews.
