We started our trip to Germany here and couldn't be happier. Great location in middle of town, convenient to sites, Rhine Cruise and hiking trails. Room was delightful with nice touches like a towel warmer. Best of all, however, were the people who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. A real gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the street. The room was a reasonable size, spotlessly clean, was really nicely decorated with a lot of character. Whilst the building is very old, it has all of the modern conveniences expected of a hotel, including wifi. There is free...

I traveled with my 16 year old son and husband. Location is excellent. Front desk person was very professional and knowledgeable. Room was good on a smaller side. This place has been built in 1200 so it’s amazing to be in this building. Breakfast is good. They don’t change the sheets only if you stay there for 4 nights. We...

We spent several days here last summer and absolutely loved it. It's an easy walk from the train station. The hotel itself is charming and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. We had a room on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the street. There's no A/C but the fan and open windows made the room quite comfortable....

Staff was friendly and helpful. Great room and breakfast. Dead center of Bacharach. We had a double room with a balcony overlooking the main street. The town was quite and friendly with old world charm.

We stayed here for the first three nights of our ten day honeymoon in Germany and Switzerland. Our room was surprisingly modern. It was fairly small, but that's to be expected in Europe. We did have a spacious balcony with nice views. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but we were tired enough that it didn't matter. The staff was very...

After a hard day's hill walking and trying to avoid Americans at the tourist sites along the Rhine we were ready for a good meal. With no booking we arrived, I felt being English, slightly underdressed for the restaurant. I need not have worried Birgit our waitress made us feel very at home. The meal was superb and traditionally German,...

We got one of the one bedroom appartments. It was newly decorated and very well equiped. It's also in the downtown area, very close to everything and you have a supermarket right across the street. Great!

Loved every minute of the stay. Large, clean rooms. Charming old exterior leads you to bright modern rooms. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the quiet Main Street. They also had a great restaurant. This was the perfect hotel to kick off our vacation.
