I stayed here for a few night and had a blast. It was a great experience to stay in an actual castle, in such a beautiful town on the Rhine. Great rooms, with a great view, plus you can get food and of course beer here. Great place to stay and explore the nearby vineyards.

We had a lovely Castle themed room which was very cute. The accommodation was set throughout different parts of the catle which was a bit of a maze to figure your way around but all part of the character of the place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good. Showers warm and clean

Stahlech Castle from the outside looks like a fairy tale. It has sweeping views of the Rhine and in all essence a place to pinch yourself with " I cant believe im here moments" I stayed in the hostel style accommodation which is very very basic. The bathrooms are on alternate levels so you have to change floors to shower....

I coulnd not be happier with my stay. Just 15 minutes walking (well signposted) from the rain station, the views over the Rhein and the wineyards on the other side is just terrific. Just from the main door a few hiking trails start. The rooms are not large but only two beds where in my room so it did not...

When we arrived at the castle, it was beautiful, it had an amazing view of the Rhine and the architecture was phenomenal. We were very sad to have it ruined by unfriendly and rude staff as well as the terriblefood, never mind the under catering. The rooms were crammed and hot as hell. There were two see through showers to...

An experience of a lifetime, lovely town, frozen in time. The castle lies high on a hill, about 30 minutes climb. Price €55 per night including breakfast. Dinner is€8.5, unbelievable. The view from the castle terrace is dreamlike. Only bunk beds but still OK. Some rooms have WC/shower inside, but you have to pre-book. If you take your kids, they...

We had a 1 night stay as our second night they could not find. Their was a lady in the reception area that was not staying there but wanted to ask a question. She yelled out loud "the Americans are TOO slow". It was not our fault but a slow receptionist. We were told the wine cellar was open till...

This was a great experience for both my children (10 and 12) and myself. The rooms and sheets were very clean. We had private bathroom. Living in a real castle is fun. The view of Rhine Valley from up there is just amazing. Staff are friendly. We had to leave early in the morning and the staff in the kitchen...

Family of 4, with a 10 and 12 year old. We loved the castle. We ate breakfast and dinner at the castle. It was cheap, easy and relaxing for the kids. Everyone that worked there were very nice! It was a great experience. The kids enjoyed 1 Euro small slushies! We found a park by the river for the kids...

As the name suggests, it's a castle! The building itself is impressive and worth sight-seeing. The view from the castle is amazing, as you can directly see the Rhine river. There are also plenty of outdoor seats in the castle and on the platform, where you could enjoy coffee, tea, or meals. It's easily accessible from the town center on...
