My partner and I have been staying here each summer. The rooms are spotless the locations is central and the hosts are wonderful down to earth Greeks. Every year we book ahead to give George notice if we arrive from Athens by boat or plane either one he is always there to greet us. If only for a few days...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Windmill Naxos. George and his family are generous and caring. The location is terrific: a 5 minute walk to both St. George Beach and the town square, and just 10 minutes' walk to the port. The rooms are bright, clean, and equipped with basic cooking utensils, so you can - if you wish -...

Windmill Naxos was a great place to stay. Not only was it a 10 minute walk from Naxos Town, it also had plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. George was very helpful and the rooms were very clean and there was a safe in the room. Overall it was great value at a tiny price.

My husband and I were here for only one night. The room was huge, big enough for a whole family. The bathroom was tiny however. The location is great, walking distance to many restaurants. We took an evening stroll to the temple of Apollo and watched the sunset. George also picked us up and dropped us off at the port,...

A nice familyrun hotel. George and his mother takes good care of the guests. Free pick-up to/from port. Very clean. George had losts of good advice and even organized a private guide when a tour was cancelled. 5 min to beach - Agios Georgios. Walking distance to Chora/Naxos town. Would stay here again.

Staying at the Windmill Hotel for four days (and saving, by doing so, quite a lot compared with the options), we were delighted with the accommodation, the features, the location, and above all the friendly family who ran the place. Georgios answered emails promptly, was waiting for us at the port when we arrived by ferry, dropped us off again,...

We stayed at Georges for a total of 3 nights. The accommodation is set amongst quaint Greek villas in the centre of Naxos, a short walk from everything. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed, including kitchen, fridge, air con... Even a little balcony to have a sunset beer on! As for George, he's such a gentleman!...

Stayed here for 3 nights and for what we paid we got unbelievable value. Collected from and dropped off to the port by the owner George. A very friendly affable chap who will offer good advice about Naxos. Nice little balcony from our room, comfortable bed, and also featured a little kitchenette and a safe. Practical en-suite, and a nice...

Okay let me start with this was probably my favourite place I stayed while I was in Greece for so many reasons. (We were 5, twenty-some year old girls) George, the owner, is fantastic. He is very accommodating and will provide you with bus schedules and ideas for things to do around the island when you arrive (along with a...
