We had one night here before catching the ferry home. The journey took about 45 minutes around the ring road. Welcoming, efficient reception. This is a big site by Irish standards, with pitches enclosed by beech hedges, all flat. Adequate central toilet block. Our only concern was traffic noise. Good position to visit Dublin - regular buses into centre.

A very well run caravan and motorhome park good shower block etc.clean/great hookup and grey water disposal on each pitch also drinking water. Well laid out .Tokens were required for showers which we were advised of but we use our own .only down side was traffic noise get a place in the middle of park to avoid.

I would highly recommend Camac Valley. I was there for a couple of nights on my own . Alan & the staff were fantastic. It's a lovely quiet site and has all the facilities you need. You can get the 69 bus right outside the gate into city centre.

Good facilities and location was close to Dublin (handy). Site manager was very friendly however failed to mention that tokens were required to operate the shower which had to be purchased from the office. Also we were told the park would be inaccessible to come and go from 8pm and this affected our already made dinner plans. Also, the powered...

What a load of rubbish. No toilet block open. No water pressure to fill water tank. Very noisy. Ok out of season February but for 25 euro total rip off. Supposed to be all season site. Sad they have monopoly as nothing else in area. Sad. First night in Ireland.

Hi, Thanks for your review. We do close the main shower block in the off season as it is not required. At the time of you visit we had a problem with the water on site. There was some works being carried out in the area. Best regards, Camac Valley

Stayed here for 2 nights in our motor home and found this place ticked all the boxes. We stayed mainly for the location but were pleasantly surprised by good staff, nice welcome, clean facilities and plenty of space for kids etc. Very reliable bus service to city centre also.

I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October. The campsite was very easy to find. Really well located and just perfect. The staff were lovely and helpful. There are tons of pitches. All big and spacious. Each had privacy hedges which was very nice. Toilets were big and clean. The only thing I could fault were the...

This is an interesting site - superb in some ways and mediocre in others. That makes it hard to judge, but I would gladly stay again, hence the decent overall score. First the good - the site is huge and nicely laid out. We were in a motorhome, and we're impressed with the pitches. They are large and nicely spaced...
