The rooms have been as usual dirty and unkempt. The staff have been very helpful and friendly. To our surprise the food was good for Irish standards, but the prices are too high. I will write to the management of the Ibis group, to inform them about our bad experience. I need no a "Platinum Card" from the Accor-Group.

Close to the Luas Red line - a short walk over the bridge to the Red Cow stop. €4.90 for a return ticket to the city centre. Room was basic but clean, with a great shower. Despite being so close to the motorway, the room was really quiet - as long as the windows were shut. Reception were friendly and...

Arrived early in the day and was given a room immediately, no waiting for the official check-in time. The check-in was fast and the receptionist had a friendly greeting. The room was clean and comfortable, large double bed, flat screen tv, free wifi. The rooms are a bit older but understand that some renovations are planned in the very near...

We stayed here for 4 nights in January, because it is the cheapest hotel we could find in our range of expectations. First thing to know is that the hotel is quite far from the city, about 30-35mn of LUAS (Dublin's tramway). It isn't that annoying once you're there and the journey goes quite fast. But the area is only...

Many thanks indeed for all your comments both positive and negative. I am thankful you found the hotel very competitve in price, clean and with friendly staff. I am sorry you did not find the location suitable as yes we are outside of the city centre but a short walk away from Clondalkin village which has numerous shops, pubs restaurants...

This was terrible from start to finish. When I arrived on a very cold day, my room had no heating - I was told afterwards that it's on a "time switch". That explains why I woke up shivering at 5 am in the morning: my room was ice cold. Then the breakfast - processed "scrambled egg" which tasted like sawdust...

Stayed here for 1 night in September with my friend. Nothing was too much trouble for them, reception staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was of great standard and was spotless. Bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom was spacious. About 5 mins walk from the luas stop which is ideal. Would definitely recommend and I'd definitely stay there again....

If you're looking for a place to stay whilst catching a flight from Dublin and want to keep costs down, you could do a lot worse than this hotel. Although the rooms are clean, they are very very basic and the beds aren't that comfortable, however at £30 a night for two people I cannot complain, while getting to the...

I stayed for three nights at the end of December. There was a lovely Dutch lady on reception each night I was there who was very friendly & would ask about my day, which was a lovely touch as a solo traveller! Bit far out of town, easy enough to access on the Luas, but a very cold walk back...
