This Hotel is at best 3 star Basically they are only interested in weddings/functions The rooms seem to be an afterthought with external entrances Our room which was cleaned daily but never the shower ! The area where are room was located was never cleaned ! All outside seating area was untidy and chairs dirty! Breakfast was very poor Although it stands in beautiful grounds The Hotel section has no Bar when we asked the response was it closed after the summer! the grounds of the function area was kept tidy but not the area of Hotel Very disappointing
Just arrived home in Australia from our beautiful holiday in Italy and the Villa Minieri in Nola would have to be the best accomodation that we had during the six weeks we were away. The staff were very helpful and went far and beyond with anything that we needed, especially with the help of Rosanna and Luania. The grounds were beautiful and the buffet breakfast food was some of the best that we had eaten. The facilities of the gym and spa areas were very impressive also! This hotel and staff made us feel like we were at home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Minieri Resort and will definitely be returning there soon!
A hotel in Nola which seems to make most of its money from weddings. On first arriving everything seemed lovely, the gardens are pretty and there were 2 weddings on our visit. We stayed in the room with the private sauna and whirlpool. Like previous guests in this room we were disappointed at the finishing touches to the room and outside private balcony. The room was large with a comfy bed, we liked the shutters which were useful for keeping the room cool in the day and dark at night. The sauna door was still broken (review from January 2018) just needed a little glue from what we could see. Whirlpool didn't work properly, maintenance were called they pressed the same button over and over again and said they would have to call someone in. No discount was offered, bearing in mind we were paying extra for these facilities. The whirlpool was also half empty the next day, not sure where all that water was going, but was cleaned ready for the next use. The decking was in poor shape with sharp screws being seen, no attention to detail. Also with this room you are above the kitchens which can be noisy, unsightly views over the rubbish disposal areas. Out of the 5 nights we stayed 3 were very windy and we were woken several times a night by gates below our room being slammed shut. Receptionist staff were very pleasant but did not understand us. Not keen on the threadbare towels, the large hole in the wardrobe and the very noisy and not very efficient air conditioning. Wifi did work in the room but you had to log on using different passwords in the reception and dining room. We loved the fresh orange juicer at breakfast. Breakfast was basic, pastries didn't seem very fresh. Most mornings was just congealed scrambled eggs and sausages that no one seemed to touch. Waiter would disappear and have a cigarette or play on his phone. We had to find him to ask for a coffee, he would not ask. We were blessed one morning with a new waiter. He was fantastic. He asked for our drink orders, there were fresh pastries that morning and we were even offered freshly made omelettes. The best breakfast of the stay at this particular hotel. We were offered the use of the spa one day as we could not use the outdoor pool due to one of the weddings. The spa was unsupervised and nothing had been switched on so couldn't use it unless we had waited a couple of hours for everything to heat up. Pity as it was quite a nice relaxing area. A disappointing stay mainly because of the area which was very run down and struggled to find restaurants. With a bit of attention to detail this could potentially be an amazing place to stay. Take on board comments and act on them.…
What a find! Fantastic hotel for a quick break, clean, friendly and in pristine condition. The spa pool was exceptional, the breakfast was exceptional, Rosana the receptionist was exceptional, she couldn't have been more helpful. Thanx.
We were planning a visit to Noele Italy and found the Villa Minieri online. Fortunately we reserved a room for three nights Beautiful grounds, a delightful restaurant, terrific rooms and a friendly courteous very professional staff. Thank you Rossana , Luania and Antonio for making our stay so pleasant. Thank you for your translation services enabling us to achieve all that we wanted to do while in Nola including renewing our marriage vows at the Basilica of Nola. If you are planning a visit to Noele Italy do yourself a big favor and reserve a room at the Villa Minieri. You will be very happy for doing so George & Phyllis C New Jersey
