This hotel is a jewel. While most visitors are Italian or German, the staff also speaks English. Everyone was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help us get beach towels (not realizing people bring their own on vacation here). The kids club workers were fantastic! They were so sweet with our kids and were able to speak English with them. The whole hotel is kid-friendly. There is a special menu for kids meals, which includes basics like pasta and French fries. The adults always have fish and non-fish options for their meals. And ice cream or another dessert after lunch and dinner. The bruschetta is out of this world. Even though check-out was a few hours before our ferry, the hotel happily let us stay in the lounge area and our kids got to go to kids club, even after we had checked out. The provide a free shuttle to the beach and the port. The rooms were clean. The only surprise was that there were some mosquitos by the pool so bring some bug spray for the evenings. This hotel was amazingly affordable given the high quality staff and facilities.

Actually i found this hotel by chance on google maps. We couldn't have had a better holiday. You find all the reasons for it in the other positive reviews but i simply like to add my review out of gratefulness... And i'ld like the owners to know what a great staff they have i.e. have chosen (but sure they know). The food is great because honest and real: fresh fish is being delivered same day, no strange things like cherry tomatoes on fish filets or basil or parmesan on the seafood which tourists introduced in other areas. This is the kind of cuisine of my childhood when i visited my nonna in Italy. And our children loved it as well! Beside that, as the other reviews mention, great staff, friendly, attentive, able to make own decisions without asking three other managers like in other hotels. From the cleaning staff to receptionists and driver: just great. Small note: and despite the fact we didn't think about the kid's club before it was a real treat to us and our boys had a great time even if they don't speak Italian (the staff there also know some other languages and the atmosphere was simply good). Almost all rooms are renovated but i'ld also take a old room here.

I've just come back from Ischia, so I was in this hotel with my 2 years old son. It was unforgettable experience. The rooms are very clean, food is excellent! They have the menu for kids, my son ate everything from this menu and he's very picky. The staff is very polite and helpful!!! Highly recommended.

We stayed in room 154, a superior room on the top floor of the hotel with a large terrace. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here, it is in a beautiful location in the hills of Forio, close to Giardini la Mortella. Our children of 8 and 6 absolutely loved the large pool, and children's club that runs from 10.00am to 10.30 pm. The staff work tirelessly for the children and are really passionate about their work. There were so many events laid on for them from making pizzas, a swimming gala, pirate party, karaoke, and water polo. We also enjoyed the walk to San Francesco Beach, it was on a quieter road, circa 10 mins walk had great restaurants with beautiful sunsets.

We have been lots of times to Ischia but the first time in this hotel. It's officially a 3 star hotel but we liked it more than most 4 star hotels we have been to. The food was excellent. Only the breakfast was quite poor with no fruits on offer (a part of one day when they offered some apples which finished immediately) which we did not understand why given that there are a lot of local fruits which aren't collected and which thereby would be at no cost to them and would offer some local flair as the citrus fruits here are very special. Massimo the chief waiter was particularly charismatic, professional, marry and friendly at the same time. The resort is very well kept and seems to have been renovated very recently with a big outside pool with all amenities included for the guests. There is a small covered jacuzzi bath just beside. Going down in the spa area there is a warm thermal water pool and a sauna which seems to have been done very recently. Non the less I noted a lot of dust just under the bench which seemed to have been there for a lot of time and never collected. The overall experience was however very good and there was also a free shuttle service for the Negombo thermal baths.

Team and staff is very nice, helpful. Our favourite was the driver! Hotel will give you free shuttle to the beach or to the town. Beach is impossible to access without the van in the summer, it is a fair 15 minute long walk which is unbearable in the heat. Breakfast could be improved, not so much variety of food can be boring after a couple of days. Be careful with the selection of your room because if it overlooks the pool or the restaurant, it can be noisy. Bus stop is right at the entrance of the hotel. Fair service for fair price

- Access to the beach means that there is a van that can give you a ride. By foot the shore is at least 15 minutes away, and you need to pass very unpleasant track on two-lane road without pevements. - Soundproofing is very poor. Be prepaired to hear all the talking in a hallway. + Stuff is nice and friendly

Everything is been perfect. Delicious food, kind and available staff, relaxing place. The hotel is located 2 steps from the beach and the town center. The bus stop is right outside. We will definitely come back next summer. 👍🏻😀

We were initially a little underwhelmed when we arrived at this family Hotel. The lift reminded me of childhood hotel holidays, matched by the room decor. But fairly soon I realised this was no ordinary family Holiday, but we were actually vacationing mise-en-secene, with the most splendid cast of characters. The kindly Nino 'civetta' presided over the cast with civility, ensuring we were well catered for. Tommaso 'Fisi' was a star, roaring us to the beaches, the port and picking us up with great gentility. I'd recommend the section of the Beach under the umbrella of Lido Nonna Carmela which can be reserved at reception. At the Beach Vito 'El Capitano' will see you right. Grazie for the family space and director's chair for our last day there. The catering was wonderful, particularly supper, which felt like the real Italian job. I wish I'd thanked the chefs. We were ably served by the lovely Hannah, the "Venus degli occhiali', who struggled admirably with our daughter Aneira's name, which clearly has no direct Italian (or English) translation. We adored Vincenzo 'Mammo per Sempre' who was redoubtable, and would have given Signor Williams a run for his money. When I asked about La Cicciolina over the family dinner table, he kindly informed me, sotte voce, that it was a pizza. Our children were initially sceptical of the mini-club, but we were won over by the staff (they recall Angela and Alessi but all were formidabile). Slightly embarrassingly, they came in one night after the disco at ten, to find father already tucked up after enjoying several glasses of the Ischian bianco semi-classico. Well they are 8 now. The pool was great and of course there were others, cleaners, bar staff etc who all played their part admirably to make it a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Bravo !
