La Reginella is located in the Lacco Ameno ity center, has a park of 7 pools and a Spa equipped for wellness and spa treatments. The joys of taste:, the hotel has two restaurants, one of which is equipped with a pizza oven. Beach and sea: La Reginella is located about 800 m from the beach of San Montano and about 300 m from the Scogliera -stone platform - (places for guests with direct booking subject to availability). Arriving by car: For those coming by car, the Reginella has convenient free parking. We recommend contacting the Reception because the area is limited traffic. For direct guests who stay at least 3 nights, a free shuttle is available upon arrival at the ports of Casamicciola or Forio.

Hotel's Favourite
I have just returned after 6 wonderful days at the Reginella, the facilities are excellent and maintain an old-world charm, and are wonderfully maintained and looked after, the rooms are comfortable (although the neighbours can be loud on occasions as soundproofing isn't wonderful, initially I also had quite small room and the bathroom was definitely lacking in storage etc. however after speaking to staff at reception I was moved to another room and was very much more at home there), the thermal gardens and pools are well kept and ongoing cleaning and maintenance is visible everywhere. The restaurant and kitchen produce wonderful, local food and the staff throughout the hotel really do what they can to make guests feel very special. Particularly I would draw tension to the restaurant staff working under Sig. Gianni, including his assistant Sig. Mattera and all the waiting staff; the housekeeping staff looked after by the wonderful governante and also show the staff who look after the pools including Sig.na Anna and her colleagues. Throughout the hotel however, staff really do what they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable and anything you ask them or request to do seem to do whatever they can to oblige you. I'm really glad I was able to spend as long in the hotel as I did this time and I'm already working out when I will be able to return.

I spent two nights at la Reginella la and really wish I could have stayed longer. In terms of quality of stay and value for money it really was excellent. My single room had queen size bed (which I love in a single room) and although it didn't have any external space the room was more than adequate, well-furnished and well maintained. The staff in the hotel were professional and courteous and overall the amenities were excellent. The pools and thermal gardens are out of this world and I could have lived in them forever. The food in the hotel was also first rate, the dinner menu was excellent and varied, however my one niggle on that both in terms of the buffet at dinner and at breakfast was that things were not replaced when they ran out. In a hotel of the standard if you go for breakfast at 9:00 AM when breakfast is advertised to run until 10:30 you expect there to at least be a cornetto or other pastries instead, and perhaps this was linked to then closing in the next few days , we were told there were no more and there were no more coming and this was disappointing given the type of hotel but this is, the same also happened at dinner. It would be nice if the room had come with slippers and a dressing gown however I understand that these can be rented or bought so it wouldn't put me off returning and all in all I'm already planning my next trip to this hotel and hope to do so very soon.

La Reginella is a nice hotel, centrally located by the town square. Its biggest asset is the luscious garden with thermal baths in various temperatures. Truly a nice place for relaxation. Our stay included full pension with ok food and lots of it. The level of cleaning is great, and the attentive staff also deserves praise. My primary reason for only giving my stay 3 stars was the quality of sleep. The bed itself is okay, a little hard but nothing to complain about. The pillows, however, are awful. Big and hard as stone. Morning headaches guaranteed 😞 And they were apparently not possible to change on request. So, should I choose to come back to stay, I would bring my own pillow, no doubt. And probably my own bathrobe as well, as the one provided, even marked XL, was hardly able to tie around me…

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this lovely hotel and had a wonderful time. The room was well equipped and very clean - and the bed might be the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! All the staff were friendly and helpful; the restaurant service was effortlessly slick and the menu choices each night were varied and delicious! Set in a beautiful area of Ischia and handy for shops and beaches, and just a short walk away from the bus route which serves the island. All in all a very relaxing stay 😎

The hotel is in a great location not far from the ferry terminal and a skip away from a pedestrian walkway which is limited to local traffic. The hotel was very clean, the pool area was great, the staff was excellent. The only downside was the restaurant was ordinary. They just could not get the food to the table HOT enough. Even after asking multiple times. Apart from that is was ideal

Very nice old fashioned hotel in the center of Lacco Ameno, a small village on the island of Ischia. Location is very convenient as in the very center of the village (good for strolling around and not far from the ferry harbor of Casamicciola). The hotel itself is an old fashioned villa transformed into a hotel. Rooms are a bit small and probably furniture needs a bit revamping as they are rather oldish. But all is very clean, also in COVID times. Most of the rooms have a balcony (do ask for it) as this is very convenient. The hotel has a big internal garden with some 4-5 pools accessible only to hotel guests so this is very convenient and crowd-free Food is very nice (lunch option and dinner are served in two different restaurants and both offer good choice and variety). Very comfortable bedding Excellent staff ready to comply and satisfy all customers' request. So my only comment would be to change the furniture. I would recommend short stays as the rooms are a bit small but that's probably personal attitude. All in all good value and good stay

I took my younger cousin on her first trip to Italy and chose to come here for the first part of our journey and it did not disappoint. After an extremely long day of travel the room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely little balcony with a table and chairs which extended the room, making everything feel bigger (I will note though that for Americans the bathroom is cramped and the shower tiny so be prepared for that when staying here). We immediately went out to the pools and enjoyed lounging around before having some wine on the patio, then exploring the gardens more. There are also some indoor pools which I appreciate since I usually travel beginning or end of season when the weather isn't great yet. Breakfast the next day was nice, nothing spectacular but good enough to keep us going through the majority of the day. We couldn't ask for a better location as this hotel is right off the main piazza in Lacco Ameno and a quick walk to Negombo spa. Taxis are right outside the door in the piazza too so it's an easy ride to the ferry.

we stayed first at Regina Isabella and then moved for 3 nights to Reginella . difficult to go down. the garden premises and pools are excellent . the rooms so and so, the air con was not working well . one of the reception persons was outstanding the others so and so . the hotel would improve if it had a bit more soul and initiative . breakfast is served also outside but then many people smoke . without the pools my score would have been average considering also that it is not really cheap

The hotel itself is grand and feels like traveling back in time into old world luxury. We spent one night in a Superior room and then upgraded to a Suite for the remainder of our stay. The Superior room was fine, but the shower was incredibly small (and slippery!!!). The Suite was nice, though I wish they had an actual king-sized bed instead of two separately made twin beds, which don't exactly read "romance". The rooms desperately need more outlets for charging phones, laptops, etc. The thermal spas were lovely and the location at the end of the main strip in Lacco Ameno was perfect. We didn't eat dinner there, but the breakfast buffet was adequate. Overall, a good option.

I did not know this hotel and I realise now what I had been missing! the building is charming, with beautifully tiled floor and spacious common areas. the restaurant offers a varied buffet breakfast and fixed-price lunch and dinner options in a beautiful large room. the bedrooms are a bit small but very clean and well appointed. the service is attentive, polite and good throughout. there is a thermal park attached with several swimming pools in a green surrounding and even a poolside bar-restaurant. highly recommended.
