The hotel itself is really nice and staff had been great up until we got lunch here for the first time today. It’s a bit of a walk down to the town so we said we’d stay here for lunch for a change. I ordered a pizza and my partner ordered prawns and calamari. Unfortunately the pizza was not fresh and it was unlike any pizza I’d gotten on the holiday. It resembled a frozen pizza from a supermarket. My partners prawns and calamari were nice though he received crisps with it as opposed to chips. Nonetheless, it was still nice. The thing that bothered me about the experience was that while it was clear I ate none of the pizza, no one came over to ask whether everything was okay or if I wanted something else instead etc. My partner waited for a further 10 minutes and still no one came over although there was still a full pizza left on the table. Not great service when we are staying here 5 nights :( the mistake could have been easily fixed had they taken it off the bill or offered something else instead. Overall, the hotel is nice and we’ve loved the pools, it was just a pity how they handled lunch considering none of mine was eaten.

Stayed here for 9 nights on our first trip to Ischia. The hotel staff were all first class, stayed half board and the included 4 course menu's were amazing and portions generous. The pool areas have plentiful beds and the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel - to note they have upgraded one of the pools since the website photos .

Our room, 110, was beautiful, very clean. Spacious balcony overlooking the gardens, pool and bay. Food was excellent, 4 course dinner, different menu every night. We did half board. Great breakfast. Dining well run by Vittorio, all staff friendly and courteous. Reception staff were very helpful, special mention to Valentina and Antonio (Jack Grealish) in maintenance . Stand out feature were the 2 thermal pools. Very warm, clean. Great not to have them polluted with chlorine. The upper pool had 4 cabanas available. Very relaxing. Walkable into Port Ischia along the back path. Bus back to the hotel. Highly recommended. Worth its 4 star rating.

Hotel situated just outside Ischia Porto with great views over the bay of Naples. Hotel is on the Cliff side, so lots of steps though they have a Golf cart to take you to the top for Buses pick up etc. Hotel has 2 thermally heated pools, one with Cabanas which we could get everyday. Staff will bring you drinks to both. There is a rocky beach down some steps, where there is a pontoon with sun beds etc. We had originally a room on the 4th level, great view but small and a tiny Juliet balcony, long walk to the Restaurant or bar. There are better rooms with fantastic sea views on level 3 bit bigger and large balcony’s overlooking Procida island and Vesuvius, which we asked to move to as we like sitting and relaxing on the balcony with our own space. We stayed here for 2 weeks on Half Board and the food here is just amazing. Best food ever for Dinner. You have to choose it at breakfast and they will do do something a little different, if it’s not what you want, but just incredible food! Drinks a bit pricey but extensive wine list cheaper than in the town and draught beer. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially waiting staff and the receptionists, who could never do enough for you. There is a path down to the main port with takes 15 mins (20 back up and first part gets the Heart pumping!) Worth eating in the port as great food and some shopping there. Also can get Ferry to Naples,Capri, Procida, Amalfi and Positano. Boat trips around island Bus route round the island - day pass is €4 can get busy but very simple to use, and there are beautiful things to see and do on Ischia. Especially the spas. Downside of hotel are air con in room is not great, showers are a challenge to get right temp etc. Pool towels are €3 each, every time you change them you will have to pay again, we kept ours for a few days, then changed. Our room also turned into a shower in a major thunderstorm one evening, leaking through ceiling so a bit of an adventure and they moved us again. Won’t hold this against them as just think we were unlucky and they gave us free drinks to apologise. Overall lovely friendly hotel, great views, friendly staff and the best food ever. Would return definitely.

The room we were allocated when we arrived - despite the hotel being very quiet - was down very steep steps. It was tiny - a weird triangular shape with a sea view but no useable balcony. The table and chairs had to be round the side. The room was tired and tatty. The bathroom door didn’t fit so because of the angle of the room there was no privacy. We then found there was no hot water ! We complained about the water and the door. The lack of hot water at the hotel was an issue throughout our stay. It became clear that hot water was only available at certain times during the day. The mornings and evenings it was always cold. We were offered another room as the door could not be fixed and the second room was much larger and what we would have expected although very tired and in need of refurbishing. The hotel advertises a private beach and sun decking. This is now rubbish strewn with a rusting iron frame and by the time we left they had closed the gate with a sign. The other hotels along that stretch all had their beach facilities up and running - looking smart. The staff, were very friendly and tried their best to help. In all the hotel is obviously is not four star any more

Our first time to Ischia and though we weren't told of our actual hotel until two days before departure, booked with Voyage Prive, it didn't disappoint. It's set on a hillside below the road with views back across the bay to Naples and Vesuvius. But as others have said this does mean it's on many levels although there is assistance to get back to the road and a shuttle into Ichia Porto although this didn't run in the evening. There is also a quiet footpath into town direct from the hotel although the final part is quite steep. We had an amazing room, 318, with a huge terrace, although it would seem some rooms may not have good views, or any views at all. The only minor complaint would be low water pressure and hot water that wasn't too hot. Another positive was the staff, all extremely attentive and polite and very patient with my rather poor Italian. There is also an outside terrace adjacent to the main dining room where we had breakfast each morning with such an amazing view. All in all highly recommended.

I was booked into the hotel on Booking.com. For technical reasons the hotel had to close and I was unable to stay there on the dates originally booked. However, the staff at the hotel were very proactive. They rebooked us into another 5 star hotel and continued to arrange transfers to the new hotel from the ferry port and transfers from the new hotel to Naples airport. They were at all times highly supportive and all transfers worked perfectly. Since I didn't actually stay there I cannot comment on the hotel. However, the staff and the service they provided was exceptional.

This is a great hotel which I'd definitelyy recommend. It's situated slightly out of Ishcia Porto which means the location is nice and quiet, but it's only about a 10 minute walk into the town and there is a shuttle bus if you don't want to walk back up the hill. We were given a family room which was over two floors so had loads of space. The hotel has an amazing view and both pool areas are great. There's also a private beach where you can swim in the sea. The pool areas weren't overcrowded - we never stuggled to get a good spot. The layout of the hotel is over many levels, so not great if you have mobility issues but not a problem for us. The food was really good every day with a large selection to choose from at breakfast, and we really enjoyed all of the evening meals. We didn't mind choosing the evening meal at breakfast, but if you don't want to do this then you don't have to! All of the staff were very pleasant, particularly in the restaurant. We had to leave very early on the last day and breakfast was arranged from us. The reception staff are happy to help with any queries. Overall we were extremely impressed with Ischia and this hotel and would love to return at some point.

Ist visit to island ischia, via ferry from Naples if it wasnt for Citalia the Italian specialists who service was exceptional .Well your on your own im afraid the ferry was rammed and luggage is left at rear end of ferry.Citalia took care of ours and retrived it on arrival in Ischia escorted to our private taxi for transfer to Continenal Mare, check in was swift, shown to our room up 52 steps on 3rd floor but wow what a view from the very spacious balcony, over Naples bay Although we didnt have a rep we had to ask for all the local info as none displayed anywhere, we booked half board breakfast continental, plentiful if you like all that ,evening meal choices had to be booked at breakfast, just ok you could swap for lunch we did a couple times and found these better, bottles wine average prices for hotels ,drinks at bar expensive, abd given that hotel is situated on hillside no local bars within a good ten minte walk to port via a short cut from hotel which was steep but a lovely walk coming back up was a challenge but a good workout especially carrying goodies from supermarket phew, the therme pools where lovely ,plenty of sunloungers ,towels 2euro per person per day, take your own, travel by the local busy at your own risk as rammed to capacity ,walking to neighbouring towns is a better option although do it leisurely to be appreciated
