After a rather mixed experience of Naples, both in terms of weather and security, what a delight it was to arrive in Ischia at Baia di Sorgeto. Why is it that so few British people seem to have discovered this place? Our accommodation was a self-catering one room apartment with a good sized balcony to sit on. We had access...

Me and My wife and our young daughter stopped with Pepinno and family during the last week of October and we loved every minute of it. Our room was basic but very clean and all we needed to cook when needed. All the words people have said about Pepinno and Rosa are true they are such a lovely couple and...

We stayed with Peppino at Baia di Sorgeto for 5 days this October - the weather wasn't perfect but Baia di Sorgeto was - the pools, indoor and outdoor were awesome, we all spent loads of time swimming and relaxing! They also have a friendly dog called Lupin :) the property is located between Panza (up a steep hill and...

Me and my partner had 18 lovely days at Baia di Sorgeto in Sorgeto, where we were met by the lovely owner Peppino and his family. The apartments are set in a beautiful rural Italian location, which has two thermal pools set amongst a lovely garden, which includes Peppino herb garden, in which he will encourage you to use. From...

Our stay at the Residence Baia Di Sorgento was the best part our our month long journey around Europe. The hotel was well located, clean and comfortable. Ischia is a beautiful island, and Residence Baia di Sorgento is located in one of the most interesting places: the Baia. Here, which is a very short walk from the hotel you can...

I can only recommend this place, clean room/studio, sufficient equipment: cooker, fridge, coffee maker + dishes. 2 lovely thermal pools. Unfortunately during our stay there was a heatwave, so we could use the outdoor pool just early in the morning or late in the evening, otherwise the water got too hot. But the indoor pool was pleasantly warm all the...

Pool was great, recommendation from the owner as well about where to go, where to eat, etc. We really enjoyed our stay, although dont expect too much partying...

This was my first time staying in this part of Ischia- Peppino and Rosa were so kind, the rooms were newly refurbished, pretty, and spacious, the beds new and comfortable, and to walk down the road a few hundred meters to bathe in Baia di Sorgetto in the sea every morning was a fantastic unforgettable experience. I loved walking up...

For 50 euros each a transfer was arranged from Naples Airport, including ferry and taxi delivered straight to the hotel and we were kindly met at the door very late at night by Peppino. We stayed in the shoulder season in May 2015. Peppino and his wife Rosa Thea run a wonderful resort with self catering for what we imagine...

We visited Baia di Sorgeto in March 2015. The weather was warm but warmer still was the welcome we received from Peppino the owner and his lovely wife and daughter. We stayed in a self catering apartment which worked very well. We spent some time everyday in the indoor mineral thermal pool, which was wonderful and restorative. We enjoyed visiting...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ischia self-catering Apartments BAIA DI SORGETO, open the whole year, is situated amongst the lush green vineyards of Forio in Ischia. Our thermal pool, whose temperature varies between 32C to 36C, is refilled each morning with pure, natural hot thermal waters. These waters flow directly from the salty, sulphurous underground springs that, at their depth of 105 metres, heat naturally at 81C. The waters in the pool have therapeutic properties, which are reputed to assist in the cure of arthritis. In addition, the waters aid circulation and help maintain muscle tone as well as stimulate the skin. Sorgeto Bay is rich in hot thermal springs in the Mediterranean Sea where one can bathe in the sea, even in Winter. In some places, the sea is so hot that it would be possible to boil eggs and potatoes. And more: if a turfacean stone is scratched, a mud can be obtained which can be used for making a beauty musk for the face. ... more   less
